Which EU character do you wish was in the OT?

I wish I could see Mara Jade in action in the movies. Does anyone else have someone to add?

 

Other than Mara, I'd like to see Grand Admiral Thrawn, Corran Horn, Ysanne Isard, and the Solo kids. They are all really cool characters and I'm curious to see who they would hire for those parts. We've already seen a "real" Mara Jade, although not in any actual movie. I don't know how you'd fit all those characters into the OT however (especially the Solo kids) but I'd still like to see real-life versions of them.

 

I'd LOVE to see the Solo kids. Especially Anakin.

 

I would say the Holo Net is on in the Cantina, and there's a blurb about how boy actor Garik "Face" Loran is missing/presumed dead after being kidnapped by Rebels.

Ton Phanan on board the medical frigate in ROtJ.

Tycho in his A-Wing in ROtJ, or perhaps they could show him talking to his family in ANH on the Holo Net and it going blank.

 

Oh THAT would be cool.

 

Vongies. Then maybe we'll get some cool martial arts, a little more elaborate then 'mere' swinging with weapons like lightsabers -and amphistaffs too for that matter, Vong tend to go a little more physical.

 

I wish Mara was in the OT!!!

But besides her I wish Thrawn or the Solo kids were!

-Winter as Leia's aide in the movies

-Tycho, Baron Fel, and Pallaeon (leading the Imperial retreat) at the Battle of Endor

-Dash Rendar at the Battle of Hoth

-Mara Jade as "Arica" at Jabba the Hutt's palace

-Bail Organa on Alderaan (he's not really EU since he's in the Prequels, but it would be nice to Leia's adopted father)

-Ysanne Isard at the Coruscant celebration scene (she orders stormtroopers to quell the crowd)

 

Would be cool to see Kir Kanos kick some Jedi booty too..

 

None of them. GL would probably give them one line that would cause us massive continuity problems.

Mara would be a possible candidate for a cameo. As would Tycho, Corran, Isard, Fel, and Pellaeon. Gavin Darklighter (as a young boy of thereabouts 13) could make a cameo in the celebration scene in Mos Eisley.

 

At this point I wish to see Vergere in Episode III. Killed by Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.

So all of the NJO would have to be Infinities.

I would love to see Nom Anor. I think around the time ANH is when he first comes to the GFFA.

LOL! One of Zaphod's best lines.

It would be great to see Mara as Arica, but wouldn't it be neat to expand a little on what the Emperor was up to all that time? Mara did a lot more in his service than go to Jabba's. I'd love to see Mara as the hardened and frighteningly competent Emperor's Hand while Luke is still a raw recruit straight off the farm.

Winter has a lot of potential, too. She wasn't always at Leia's side. She said herself she was usually on the move with Supply and Procurement -- another aspect of the Rebellion we never really saw.

Or maybe a cameo of Talon Karrde meeting some shady contact in the Mos Eisley cantina?
