It looks like Hasbro has finally gotten it right.... After some horrible figures - preposed nightmares & action-feature-monstrosities - for the most part, the upcoming stuff looks great (except for Hoth Luke's HUGE and I mean HUUUUGE goggles - at least they are not attached to him)

So I ask:
Which figures from each movie do you want to see (for those that buy them)?

EPISODE 1: Yarua (rumored), Elan Mak, Ceremonial Padme (rumored), Orange-dressed Handmaiden & Rep Ben/Been (sp?), Ark "Bumpy" Roose, Clegg Holdfast, rest of Podrace Pilots..., Gardulla, Gardulla's aide...

EPISODE 2: HERMIONE BAGWA!, The "What The?" alien who honks during the Zam speeder chase, Rogwa Wodrota, Toonbuck Toora, Gilramos Libkath ...

EPISODE 3: XXXXXXX, XXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXX, XXX & XXXXXXXX (not actual names - nor do the "X"s match up with actual # of letters for names)

EPISODE 4: Feltipern Trevagg/Trevaag (sp?) (rumored), Hem Dazon (rumored), Myooomth (sp?) - alien chick with Feltipern, Myo (Abyssin)....

EPISODE 5: 'Alien' Bespin Guard (not filmed, but...), "Stand By Ion Control" woman (forget name), Wiorkettle (cut - only shown in CCG), Treva Horne (cut - only shown in CCG) & Cloud Car Pilot (rumored)....

EPISODE 6: Worrt, Ishi Tib (Jabba's not the Rebel previously released), Wooof, Sgt. Doallyn (sp?), Hermi Odle, Dignitary Sim Aloo, the Jonathan Winters-esque Imperial Dignitary & the remaining to, as well (these are rumored anyways)...

I have one figure I would like to see, at the moment.... Dannik Jericho, the Anzati Vampire in the cantina in Episode IV.

 

Yes, he would be groovy. Haven't seen him on any rumor lists, though, unfortunately.

Children Of The Jedi, The Crystal Star, pratically every alien at Jabba's Palace & Chalmun's Cantina being either a hero or a priest, Chewbacca getting killed-ed ... these, and more, were kind of big turn-offs.

 

Have you read the Thrawn trilogy yet, though?

 

Which do you consider the Thrawn trilogy? The first set starting with "Heir To The Empire" or the later one with "The Hand Of Thrawn"? I've read the first, if that's what you're talking about..

I enjoyed some of the novels, such as Darksaber, with the return to Hoth and the fact that the superweapon DID NOT work. It was more original than having the weapon work & then someone destroys it.

 

I thought you would enjoy the return to Hoth, hehe... and yeah, I was talking about Heir to the Empire and co. not the other. And, actually, the other is two books, not three. Thats where Mara and Luke get married, and such.

 

I've got to admit, a lot of the EU stuff is crap. But there's a lot of good stuff out there too. I've enjoyed all the NJO, X-Wing series, and Zahn books. 'Shadows' was pretty groovy too.

Joe's welcome to remain a purist if that's what makes him happy.
