I suppose that I technically agree with crashslayer, but that's not what the poll's about.

Of the nominees, Departed was my favorite. I've heard a number of people make a case for Little Miss Sunshine, but could list that film's flaws.

I do think United 93 should have at least been nominated.

 

I'll second that. It's too bad they won't nominate films that release earlier in the year.

The Departed, though I haven't seen Babel or Letters from Iwo Jima.

Little Miss Sunshine was fun but shouldn't have even been nominated, and the Queen was good but overall boring and, well, forgettable.

The Departed will eventually be regarded as a masterpiece of cinema, if it hasn't been already.

 

The Departed was by far the best movie from last year. It's unfortunate that the second best movie from last year(The Illusionist) didn't even get nominated...
