Full Series Which is Better? (Genndy's CW vs. TCW)

I suppose if you both keep telling yourselves that, you may eventually convince yourselves as well.

 

I think that should be "others", I'm sure they're are happy with their own opinions. Of course posting the same thing over and over again is unlikely to convince anyone. There has been no less that three instances of "Micro-series: still better" "I agree", and its been the same people each time. Once is quite enough to state an opinion but if your trying to convince other people you would have to at least, I don't know, provide a counter or come up with points maybe. I gave a detailed reason into why I (as in me, myself,personally) think TCW is better, and I was met by a short phrase, which didn't even attempt to contrast anything I had said or even present an alternate case.Its even more irelevant by the fact its been repeated three times in this thread, like its some kind of Ace card that can't be debunked or even disagreed with. Perhaps it might hold a bit more relevance if it were differant people posting it rather than a single person. Its basically just spam, and people really appreciate spam, don't they.

I could post TCW=better over and over again too, but that wouldn't really convice many people. It might annoy a few though.

 

It doesn't matter; I can like the micro series if I wanted to. Other's opinions about TCW don't matter to me. I think you should ignore something, MarkVader1991, if you don't like it.

 

It's called 'expressing yourself', people. And I'm pretty sure I've given reasons why I like the micro-series some pages back.

 

I like both. None of them is perfect. Each one has their faults.

 

The point I was making is agreeing or disareeing with other people is irelevant in this discussion because it should be your opinion. I agreed with all those people, but does that make my case more or less sound, no. Does in make my opinion more or less fact based, no. Does it really matter, no.

This is a thread for opinions, thats not the problem, the problem is when people find the need to repeat the same posts over and over again,without differant points or details, which is spam. If you want to have a debate on this matter thats fine with me, but it has to be more than a simple phrase. Your entitled to your opinion, and have never tried to stop you from having one but of course people will disagree. If you don't want to hear conflicting opinions then forums aren't for you

Now is that really fair? I could say the same to you. Its a matter of opinion at the end of the day, there is no right or wrong here.

Sorry for any offence that you or Xcell might feel, it wasn't intended. Everyone can have their own opinion, which if you look back at all my posts is what I have always said, we could just do without the spam.

 

I don't think it's worth making something out of, even if it is 'spam'. I see it more like me rooting for my favorite. Sometimes when there's people rooting for 'Team TCW' I feel I should stick up for the micro-series.

 

Fine with me, again sorry for any misunderstandings. For the record I never expected that little "discussion" to get as heated as it did. I think you made some good points a few pages ago.

 

I never argued with you, but it seems you want to argue with me. And, yes, it seemed like you tried to oppose my opinion of liking the micro series over TCW.

Yeah, you're right, thats why I said everyone can have their own opinion in every post I made. I disargreed with you, sure, but pick out something from what I wrote that indicates that I don't think you should be allowed an opinion.

In any case I'm trying to cool things down because this getting out of hand.

I know everything hasn't been quite right with me... but I can assure you now... very confidently... that it's going to be all right again... I feel much better now... I really do.

 

You know, for those that remeber my screen name, I was a very staunch supporter of the GT series, and I still am. But, these new clone wars are very good. Okay, the movie was not that overwhelming, but season 1 and then onto season two, this show has really took off for me. I can barely contain myself and see what season three holds, and now, I'm hoping that this series at least goes for another 3 years. The series as a whole has been succesful for everyone. Fro LucasAnimation, to cartoon network and the merchandising alone. Great addition to the clone wars.

And unlike some of you that have gotten anal about minor things, when you look at the entire picture, the clone wars is very very interesting. In fact, its really the one era that has been covered in everything: from 2-d cartoons to 3-style animation, to movies, comic books, video games, roleplaying, toys, internet stories, novels (both adult, juvenile and even child), comic on both sides of the pond.

 

MICRO SERIES RULES!

I would with gusto! TCWS might be technically better but the micro has it where it counts..

The new series, although not all the time.

I loved the silent episodes of the old series, where barely a word was spoken, yet the atmosphere was incredible.

What I didn't like was the crappy animation and the over the top powers and villains.
