Which is the real 'Football'?

If you're talking about American (real) football, like I expect and assume you are, then I have to add:

I don't know about the SWAT team, but the refs definitely have some pretty heavy escorts to get in and out of the stadium.

 

I think he was talking about "Soccer".


I don't think i'll vote because I can't decide between gridiron and soccer and if i vote for one i'll feel like im betraying the other

Football, or "soccer" as some seem to call it.

 

American Football.

Where players don't fall to the ground in agony...get carried off in a stretcher...then ten minutes later have no injury at all.

Where riots aren't the norm...

 

I agree with everyone who said The Beautiful Game. American Football truly is beautiful.

Though I'm not really a big fan of it.

 

Soccer has got to be the most boring sport ever invented. American football all the way.

 

I wasn't aware that the question was "which one do you like the most"

 

For most people, the answer is the same

 

American Football... the only football that matters.

 

No the question is "How America-centric are you?"

From an objective point of view, Soccer is the real football, being the oldest and the one most of these other sports are based of.

That said, subjectively, nothing compares to the excitement and skill of Australian Rules, and that is where my vote will go.

People can continue to support the one where they constantly use their feet, I'll support the one that doesn't put me to sleep.

EDIT: Unless you're making the assumption that a game clock is a strict schedule to go by.

 

To be fair in their defence, the commercials can be pretty funny and entertaining to watch.
