Which is your favorite 3.75 in Darth Vader?

Hi all!

If this has been posted before, I profusely apologize. I tried searching for it and didn't see a topic like this.
My question is...based on sculpt, character likeness and um...playability *cough* *cough* ...which is your favorite miniature mechanized dark lord?

 

I like the PotJ Dagobah Darth.

 

I concur. I like the Dagobah Vader best. A close second is the Bespin Duel Vader.

 

ToyFair Vader looks pretty but it's too rare to remove from the packaging, and too impractical to pose. Nice to have though.

 

Based on likeness I like the Saga Vader other then that I'd go the removable helmet/Anakin or the Commchip.

 

I'm a bit torn myself. ?

I like the likeness of the CommTech Vader but I think the Saga Bespin Vader takes the award for best saber.

 

The best Vader ever made was the Power of the Force with the "Removable Helmet w/ detachable hand".

 

It's a toss up between force-lightning Vader and the Vader from the Obi-Wan/Vader 25th Anniversary two-pack.

 

I like the Bespin Duel Vader the best.

I also forgot about the Obi/Vader two pack. That Vader is magnificent!
While I love the metal/detachable saber on the Saga Bespin Vader...I'm just not too crazy about the outstretched hand or the cape.

I wonder what they'll do for the upcoming ROTJ Vader? ?

 

Don't get me wrong, the Bespin Vader looks great, I could just do without the action feature. I'm not a big fan of those.

 

In this order for me:

Removeable helmet
Emperors wraith
Dagobah
Toy Fair
Bespin

 

I must concur with the Dagobah Vader choice. The only thing that detracts from the Bespin vader is the "stance". Yes it fits the whole scene thing, but for playability it hinders it.

The TF Vader looks nice but again if you are adding playability you just have the one stance basically.

With the current desing trends it will be interesting to see what direction Hasbro goes with for the Jedi Vader.

 

Vader with removable helmet is the best. It is the only such Vader with that feature and it is very playable as well.

 

My vintage, no cape having, red toothpick replacement saber weilding Vader is my favorite of this character's likeness.

 

Removable Helmet Vader is still the best in my eyes.

 

Dagobah Darth. I actually bought 3.

2 I display flanking a TPM pilot Anakin figure. One with his helmt on, one with it off.

I know the RV one looks good but I never saw it in stores, got one at a flea market for 8 bucks. So I've never taken it out of the package. Plus it's saber is a light pink.

 

This one is never mentioned, but I like the Flashback Vader that came out prior to Episode 1. It's arms can connect together so he can hold his lightsaber with 2 hands. For some reason that Vader is my favorite.

 

Ah, you're right, I forgot about that pink lightsaber. Not very manly, is it?

Oh well, the thread title said Which is your favorite 3.75 in Darth Vader?', not 'Which is your favorite 3.75 in Darth Vader Lightsaber', so I'll stick with RH Vader...

Well. Vintage was definately my favourite for a long time. But, for some reason, he just doesn't stack up. Maybe its the vertical lines...RH Vader is currently the best in my opinion today. I haven't taken Dagobah or Emp wrath out of their packaging yet, so, maybe they will grow on me. I also just got the final duel three pack. But, nobody has mentioned that one, so I guess thats not a good one. I haven't opened that yet either. (tonight I will). I'll need to look into the Vader vs. ben one. Commtech is kind of...skinny...in my opinion.
