    The Matrix.

The story went downhill from there.

Don't forget, besides giving us the trenchcoats, the movie gave us the sunglasses.....

I picked the Matrix. They should have never filmed the last two films back to back.

They should have made solely The Matrix. There they could introduce a new and unique, mind-twisting universe.

Reloaded and Revolutions ruined everything. IMO they couldn't go with the brains anymore, so they had to show muscles, that means action, action, action. Complexity? No way. Only senseless dancing on ropes and/or dumb machine gun fighting.[face_frustrated]

Revolutions ? Although the beginning is a little slow, the rest of the film delivers like few other final installments of storied film series. The siege of Zion was an extraordinarily well put together action sequence, while Neo?s final battle with Smith and ultimate destiny was both saytisfying and daring.

I'm not completely awed by any of them, but Reloaded and Revolutions were just horrendous. I guess I'll go with the original.

The Matrix was brilliant, the Agents were much better in this one than the other two. And there was no smutty romance except at the end, just pure action all the way.

    Top class.

    The Matrix

I've only seen the two sequels once and a lot of it went by with a "whoosh" and then a "whiz". The whole thing with the grey-bearded man (yes I am that poor I don't know his name) I didn't get, although my brother (who has seen them more) said that it didn't work. One problem I had was that I remained confused throughout the movie all the way to the end and even afterwards. Maybe it's just me. [face_tired]

I have to say though that Revolutions I found much better than Reloaded?I don't understand why people bag it so much more.

But the first one is much better, plot actually has some sense to it. Although I would be the first to admit I don't grasp all of it. ;)

The first one is by far the best. Out of the sequels, I prefer Revolutions, because it has more emotion and action and less of the extremely boring and pretentious dialogue sequences.

EDIT: Forgot about The Animatrix. I actually like that better than either sequel.
