Isn't it common knowledge that Yoda is from the Whills?

These are some things that should be left un-answered:

- Who Rey's parents are.
- How the LS came to be in Maz possession
- Anything about Maz
- Snoke's backstory

Haven't watched TCW end to end, but I hope it continues to be a mystery.

 

Did Dak's body decompose in the frozen wasteland of Hoth? Or did the Empire actually clean up the mess?

the whills are a mystery. so is yoda's race. neither are connected.

 

The droid at Maz's castle that notifies the Resistance when BB-8 arrives. We will probably never learn about who built him, where he came from, and what he was doing at that bar.

 

Han did. We all just assume it was Ben Kenobi he was named after, but Han was a racer. He would totally have named his kid after the great and illustrious Ben QuadrIneros.

I love Wedge. Wedge could have been in the war room when the Resistance was planning its assault on Starkiller Base, but Mr. Lawson doesn't enjoy Star Wars as much as we'd like.

 

Nobody will ever know, since the only blood test device in existence was burned with Qui-Gon.

 

I'm quite confident we will learn of Rey's parentage in TLJ, but I'm quite sure they'll make that the focus of this one, and we won't learn much (if anything) more about Snoke and/or who he really is until Episode IX. Which I guess is fine with me.

 

I'm no longer sure we'll learn Rey's backstory in this film (and I think Snoke's backstory is still out too).

 

Similar to this; how did R2 get off the planet if Luke's X-wing is buried under the ocean. Also, why did he "power up" when Rey arrived at the base. Just R2 being R2 saving the day with the map?

 

I dunno if I can go another year and a half of Snoke theories if it's not answered this Dec lol. Which I remember hearing it probably won't..

We know from Daisy that not all questions re Rey’s parentage will be answered in TLJ. Meaning the parentage thing wont be fully put to rest in TLJ.

 

Yoda's race isn't a mystery in-universe. They are part of the Republic and others have been Jedi. It's just something that is unknown to the audience.

No mystery there. It's exceedingly high.
