Which new "The ____" band is your favorite?

I picked up The Vines a few days ago because you guys all raved about it and I love it. My mom loves it too. I don't really care much for The Hives or The White Stripes. They're okay but I really can't listen to more than one song and I'm set for the week. I still like The Strokes though. A few of my friends make fun of me for it, but dammit, I don't care!

 

Here's my ranking of them:

1. The Strokes
2. The Vines
3. The White Stripes
4. The Hives


I like all of them a lot, though. It's just that the whole Strokes album is great. I can listen to it straight through.

I'm just happy with the turn that rock has made. It's more like the late 60's early 70's.

 

Gah! This was a tough choice because I love them all! Did you notice epic had a Whites Stripe lyric in his sig lately.

I chose the Vines because I think I've played their album the most and I'm still not sick of any of the songs. The Strokes I loved when I got their album This Is It, back in July last year I think. The Hives I saw at Livid and they absoltely rocked out! I love Scandinavian punk! And the White Stripes I saw at the Big Day Out this year and they were wonderful as well.

Yeah, that's a tough call. I went with The Vines too though, just because that's the phase I'm in right now.
