I've never read anything by Cunningham other than the decent The Crystal.

Allston's a pretty good author, if inconsistent. I loved his X-wing novels, and am hoping that lightning will strike twice. However, having read some of his other novels he's kind of an inconsistent writer as I've said.

I voted for Stover, because he's a great and brutally honest author, and I've loved all his books so far. I do expect his book to piss Charlemagne off though...

I'm most looking forward to Stover. I think out of anyone who's written NJO thus far, his will be the "purest" NJO book in concept, form and execution of what Lucasfilm and Del Rey have been trying to achieve with the series.

He has been one of the few authors who can do a perfect "bubble-bursting" sub-genre story of epic sci-fi/fantasy.

At first, I was a bit skeptical of him writing Star Wars. But, I think he'll be able to take NJO to a new level not seen yet.

Definitely Traitor. So far, all of the NJO hardcovers have been excellent (I'm making a big assumption with Star by Star, but I think it's definitely going to live up to the previous two hardbacks). And I've yet to hear a bad thing about Stover's writing.

I voted for Matthew Stover's Traitor. I've read Heroes Die and It was incredible. I'm reading Blade of Tyshalle right now. I think he'll be great for Star Wars. I must admit that I'm looking forward to all of them though.

Sigh... too late to edit my post, and I just remembered now that Traitor was, of course, a paperback, not a hardcover... ah, well. I'm still very much looking forward to it.

Dark Journey because it's about Jaina. However, I am really looking forward to Allstons books as well. I can't say anything about Stovers book because they haven't revealed anything about the plot yet.

Traitor, for the reasons given above. Stover has a great writing style. Besides, his books are longer than Allston's and Cunningham's. ;)

I'd have to go for Enemy Lines simply because I haven't read anything by the other authors but I know that I can trust Allston for a great story.

I voted for Traitor. Stover does rock, but just the title intrigues me, a traitor of the Jedi, the NR (or what's left), the Vong? Questions I want answers to. And besides... I have an affinity for the name Matthew... anyone with that name has to be perfect!! :-D

This was really difficult...but i went for Allston (Third in my personal Holy Triumvirate of Star Wars Authors) because we know from the X-Wing books that he can write great Star Wars.
