ST Which of the new characters are you most excited about?

Rey with Finn and Kylo tied at a very, very close second. Snoke comes in third. And rounding out the top five would be Poe and then Phasma.

 

Poe seems the most likable Han-Solo-esque character.

Although I can't wait to find out the backstory of this guy -

 

Yes, I like the look of that guy too. Probably some kind of mercenary/bounty hunter as has been suggested.

 

Kylo Ren.

Since he is probably the only legacy character. Also, I think he might cross back (?) into the light side eventually, which would make his journey the most interesting in the ST by far.

 

The bad guys. All of 'em.

I want to know just everything about him.

Why is he bad but also convinced to be right...
Why he does wear that weird mask...
What are his relationships and connections with all the other characters...

 

Kylo Ren and the knights that follow him. Any action out of his followers gives us die hards something we never got to see on screen....the cool powerful looking guys fight. Such as PT Jedi against living beings not droids (see Sidious vs. 3 Jedi in ROTS) and Imperial Royal Guards.

I hope this is done well and we finally see action from side cool characters.

Rey. I like her look, her voice, and everything about her character thusfar. I think she just may bring a depth of acting and character to the franchise that we've never seen before. It's time for a kickass female Jedi on screen and I think they chose what looks like a great actress.

Do we know who ended up getting cast as Thomas?

 

Kylo Ren.. Just hope there's some depth too his character and he's not just a one dimensional nut job.

Oh, he will. I mean:

 

Snoke. I want to know if he existed during 1-6, what he was doing during that time if he did exist, what his motives are, if he's truly the big bad, etc.

 

I would have said Rey and Phasma, after the last trailer it's Kylo.

I'm not that excited about any of the new characters, but I'm very intrigued by some. Maz Kanata and Snoke are huge mysteries and seem like very unique characters. Even though I'm not crazy about CG, I really want to see what they come up with.

I'm also excited about Han, he's one of my favorites and he's as prominent as ever on this film, I hope he can live up to his name and legacy.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing Max Von Sydow's role in the movie.

 

I voted for Rey. I think she will be the heart and soul of the new saga.
