Full Series Which original TCW character do you like the most ?

Ahsoka. But Hondo and Cad Bane are a close second and third.

 

I liked Savage, up until about half-way through Eminence, in which he becomes a mindless brute who follows everything Maul says. In Revival they set up a nice conflict of ideologies between the brothers, but that was never metioned again.

 

Definitely Cad Bane. He's one of my top 5 favorite characters. I found he was handled and developed perfectly! And if the rumor is true, we'll see more of him in Rebels.

 

He already had my sympathies with the whole Feral thing (that was harsh, huh?), but they never quite build on that. Mind-controlled or not that's enough to turn anyone on a path of revenge. Never mind Maul, let me see Savage go berserk on Sith, Nightsisters or Jedi. He had potential, but he was so underused.

 

Huh, almost a whole Savage-commemoration-page in this thread I also cried when he died in "The Lawless." I liked so much the scene, when Almec asked Maul "And what about the people?" And Savage replied "Hööö" and afterwards Maul translated to Almec what this was meant to mean.

Savage, he is underrated to Maul (overrated) the same way Jango is underrated to Boba (also overrated), the only boba I like is the clone wars junior novels that are set after jango died in AOTC and lead up ROTS.) Boba came off as an a** in TCW.

Nah its just in Lords Of The Sith his name is called Sixes instead of Fives.

Are we seriously arguing about what constitutes a "TCW Original Character" and what doesn't?

Given that the EU has now been officially de-canonized, whether or not a character appeared in EU material (novels, video games, comics, etc.) before appearing in TCW does not matter. If the character's first CANONICAL appearance came in TCW (according to the new rules of Star Wars Canon, which lists The Clone Wars as the first non-Saga piece of official Canon), they qualify as a "TCW Original Character".

This really shouldn't even be up for debate or argument.

But, anyway, I digress. My vote goes to Ahsoka.

Hard to decide. Ahsoka is my favorite, but I like Rex, Steela, Tera, Cad Bane, and Hondo. Hondo is probably my second favorite for some reason.

 

Matt Lanter is the best version of Anakin Skywalker there will ever be. He far outdoes both the performances of Jake Llyold and Hayden Christensen.

 

^ Can't say I agree. Lanter does a great job of channeling Hayden's mannerisms and voice, but, for as good as he is, he still can't top the 'original'.

 

Anakin is the best original character in the TCW but seriously Captain Rex. Rex adds so much more depth to Anakin's character than was shown in the the 3 Prequel films. Rex is able to elicit emotions from Anakin that were never seen before and he is a completely unique character. I love how Rex has to struggle to distinguish himself from the rest of his clone brothers, it makes him a very relatable character. I'm excited to see where they take his character.
