ST Which returning OT character are you most looking forward to seeing again?

The Poll question should have had the caveat "Besides Luke".

Everyone here knows TFN is very partial to Luke. It's obvious he's going to smash the competition. I mean his thread has more views and posts than even the new Star Wars fan boy nerd-candy that is Daisy.

For me, Leia obviously. But followed super closely by Luke, then Han, then R2, then Chewie, then 3PO. Yoda I adore but I'm not getting my hopes up about his return.

 

^ Lol, I agree. There should be a "Apart from Luke" option. TBH, I think, for me, Chewbacca is actually a close second. Then Leia.

 

I have to say, Ghost Yoda is right up there for me.

 

Princess Leia- I want to see how well she is recruiting systems back to the Republic since the Emperor "dissolved the council permanently".

For me, it's Han and Leia in a dead tie. I'm a romantic sap and I love their relationship, so I can't vote for one above the other. Since I can't vote for two characters, I abstained.

While I love Han, I am more stoked for Luke, because he fulfilled this incredible journey from farm boy to Jedi knight that overthrew the Empire. I wonder what he did in the past 35 years, did he establish a NJO, did he fall in love, does the Skywalker line end with him? Han's journey was interesting but not to the degree of Luke's. We also had loads of Harrisson Ford movies but no Mark Hamill blockbusters, so it was an easy vote for me...

 

luke is awesome, especially in rotj when he's all serious and straddling the dark/light side line but then comes back!

I'd love to see minor/ secondary characters like Ackbar, Nien Nunb, Mon Motha, etc. I've read the actor that played Wedge declined which is soo disappointing and sad. I understand his reasons but still...Also Lando! Billy is like the only OT trilogy actor that's the most enthusiastic to play their character before Episode VII was even announced. I'm surprised he's not in 7, although if it's for story purposes I understand. He plays Lando in the Robot Chicken Star Wars specials and in the Lego movie!

I may not be as exited as I should with this new movie, perhaps the ghosts of the previous precuels made me a little skeptic. But I am very eager to see Luke and Leia again.

 

Luke Skywalker the master Jedi when we first saw him he was a farm boy the last time we saw him he took down the most powerful sith ever. The guys arc is maybe the greatest in cinema?
