I voted other. West End Games' TORG system is by far the best I have found for running Star Wars
TORG? What's that?
I voted for other....I don't know any of 'em yet..
I voted for Both cuz they both have elements that the other lacked in my opinion
TORG was a heroic adventure game set on an earth invaded by other realities. It had a fantastic system for heroic action with great flexibility for cinematic gaming, everything ytou need for Star Wars...
Isn't it around anymore?
Sadly no. However the system was somewhat reused in the Masterbook series and Shatterzone, both by WEG. If you hunt around in bargain bins you can sometimes find these games. TORG was especially good for Force powers, since their magic system was flexible to emulate the Star Wars style.
Ahh TORG, now that takes me back!
If only the Wizards version had gotten rid of those starship combat rules. It is just too dated.
WOTC is the only i've played... I don't know any of the others
I like the simplicity of the WEG version, the WOTC version is much more complicated. but i like the rulebook better.
