Which scene made you cry?

Especially after seeing him turn watching him die makes me especially depressed. And to see his good looks go? EVEN WORSE!

 

MEN DON'T CRY

 

Other. End of RotS, when Luke and Leia are being given to their respective surrogates. I don't know why... I think the death of Padme finally hit me then.

 

I chose Other. I got really emotional when all of the Jedi started dying due to Order 66. There was one death after the other and the great music by John Williams. It was a sad moment for me.

 

Anakin cries.

And if you check back to the original post, you'll see that this poll was created well before ROTS.

 

Yeah, I saw that, but it really is the only scene that made me get really emotional when I saw it. I noticed the thread was posted before Episode III so that is why is voted Other.

 

I cried when I found out that GL was not going to have Jar Jar killed...

 

On a more serious note, I cried when Vader turns back to the light for his son. That was powerful.

 

Never cried. I'm not a big crier and, yeah, never ended up crying...

 

Right after Anakin fell in the lava...and you can see the sense of betrayal on Obi-Wan's face...and the music was playing...

Yeah. I'm dorky.

 

Never once cried.
Does that make me heartless? Lolz!

 

Death of Qui-Gon.

 

Yes, a very powerful time in Star Wars movie history, I think.

There are a few scenes that get me nearly every time I watch them:

From ANH: The 'binary sunset.' There is something so beautful to me about a young person contemplating his future, his destiny, the unknown within himself and in the world beyond his home.

From ESB: The close-up of Leia's face as Slave I pulls out of Bespin. She just looks so stricken by tragedy in that fleeting moment. All her protests against Han's affections, her cold, hard exterior, etc., simply melt away as the man she loves gets carted off by a jerk in a battered tin can. "So," my ten-year-old self said in 1980, "sometimes the bad guys win after all!"

From ROTS: Anakin's 'dying' scream of "I hate you!" as he bursts into flames. God, that's hard to watch! Who knew that li'l Bananakin from TPM would come to this? (Oh, wait, I knew all along. Well, still, it's an intense scene....)

 

Actually I didn't, but I was close to as Yoda died. The moment he disappeared... heartshaking.

I didnt actually cry but I was upset most when aayla died and her dead body fell to the ground .... er i mean ... erm...

I'm not a big cryer and Star Wars has been one of the only movies to make me cry.

But i got teared up when the Padwan's asked Anakin what they were going to do and he took out his light saber and just...*sobs*,i got teared up once agin
when Obi-Wan and Yoda saw the security tape,i cried a little from the time Padme siad "Anakin,you're breaking my heart."
...*snifles*,and then full blown cryied from the time Obi-Wan swung his light saber in that final swoop to delimb my Ani..*blows nose loudly*....to the end along with screaming ,He is too HOT to turn,...NOOOOOOO!*starts crying agin.*

 

I haven't cried, but I did get close during Order 66.

It's so difficult to make me cry, but there were two scenes
AOTC- little Boba with his father's helmet
ROTJ- death of Twi'lekk dancer in Jabba's palace

 

None really, but there were some sad secenes...
