Which Spaceship is your favorite??

since we're talking OT i'd have to say the blockade runner. i love the interior design and how it tried to take on a star destroyer.

Well, I never imagined I'd get this many replies. Thank you all for your choices and reasons. I'm even starting to rethink my favorite ship, the A-Wing. Please keep sending in your choices, and please, cut Master_Windu55 some slack, he has a good point about the Millenium Falcon.

Thanks for the good word Damien. I just don't think the M. Falcon is too great.

Like I said, I like the YT-2400 Corellian Transport and the Firespray-cass starfighter.

In laymans terms TIE Interceptors.

 

The Outrider (YT-2400). It's the best ship! its not as fast as the Falcon but it's still fast. Plus it's flown by a driod!

 

I think they were talkin about in the OT.

 

Jedi_Horn, the YT-2400 is alot faster than the Falcon. Especially speaking of the Outrider.

I'm taking the Executor (Vader's Star Destroyer), too. It's powerful, it has to have a decent crew (Vader doesn't like failure too much ), and best of all, it has Piett and Vader on it.

If not that, Imperial Shuttles. I, too, like the design.

Also not a fan of the falcon.

The Outrider has a 7.0 hyper drive (Imperial Class) Where as the Falcon has a 7.5 (which is faster then the Imps)

 

Jedi_Horn, where did you hear that the Falcon goes 7.5 past lightspeed? In the movies Han said "It'll make point five past light speed." And every other time I've heard/read about the Falcon, it confirms that.
And when I said the YT-2400 is faster, i meant regular flying speed.

I'll have to go Empire on this one: TIE Defender. Mucho shields and speed, plus hyperdrive, quad blasters, and dual ions. Yeah. That's the ticket. If I had an escape ship, that would be it. 8)

when u go to a party with ur falcon, and everybody says its a piece of junk, no way!

The shuttle is the slickest B*tch in the galaxy! U guess they sell tuning parts for it too?

 

The Y-wing is my favorite ship. I think it looks the coolest.

The Executor. I'd take the Imperial Shuttle for short-hauls though.

 

X-Wing is my favorite SW starship!

Good speed, better sheilds and armor then a faster A-Wing; yet able to deal out punishment with the bad boys (B-Wings, Y-Wings) the X-wing is the perect balance in a starfighters.

And back when my old computer had all the X-wing games, it was my starfighter of choice. I switched to a Windows 95, and none of the joysticks out nowadays seem to want to work correctly with it. I miss the days of coming home from class, fire up the X-Wing, and take on a squadron of TIE-Fighters.

 

Me and Krash got the same problem, my joysticks don't work neither!

And the A-Wing's Shields are just as good as the X-Wings.

And why stop at the TIE-Advanced when you could go to the better TIE-Defender? I have no idea why they never used the T/D at the Battle of Endor. The Empire might have won then, maybe.

Imperial: TIE Interceptor for sheer speed and nearly 90 degree turns.

Rebel: X-Wing as it is so nicely balanced, or a Speeder if I'm on Hoth ! "Use you harpoons and tow cables!"

The Falcon has always been my favorite for one reason - it made 3 Imp. Star Destroyers crash into each other. Does it get any better?

Besides, it's failing - mostly in TESB wasn't the fault of the ship iteself, they just never got the chance to fix the hyperdrive. They got chased out of Hoth, they needed to get out of that cave/stomach on the asteroid, and then the Empire screwed them on Bespin.

Otherwise in ANH and ROTJ the thing worked pretty damn well, blowing up Death Stars and everything...

Star Destroyers have a very cool look (maybe make a Super Star Destroyer sized Star Destroyer, Victory Class, hmmm...) The Super Star Destroyers just look like flying wedges to me...
