Speculation Which species do you want the new villain to be ?

A human, the OT's best characters were relatable because they were human not some sort of weird creature.

 

What species was "Alf"? That guy was freaking hilarious!

 

He was from Melmac, eating cats might not be the best idea for a family film.

Mork from Ork was charming, maybe we could have him pop in and do a 'nanu nanu' ?

I suggested that in another thread. It would be ingenious because no one would know his/her true motives. He/she probably just wanted a sandwhich, but the henchmen assumed galactic conquest.

 

Yoda's race. Luke would think he's a new Jedi Master, only for him to turn on Luke when he leasts expects it.

An intelligent and evil Droid.

Whatever race that looks like skeletons. Deadly and intelligent, though H-Man references might ruin it.

Sith Ogre, possibly a failed experiment by Palpy himself.

I kind of like the idea of an evil character from Yoda's race. Ancient knowledge and flipped expectations could lead to an interesting villain.

 

I thought they sucked. Or maybe it was the CGI!

 

Why would he automatically think he was a Jedi Master?

 

Instead of talking backwards, they speak in limerick.

 

If he presented himself that way and hid his true intentions it would probably take Luke a while to catch on.

Well, Luke, as the sole remaining Jedi, would be looking for help so he wouldn't repeat Obi Wan's failure with Anakin (at least from Obi Wan's POV). Enter another of Yoda's race who also is strong in the Force. Luke might make the mistake of assuming he is also good, and it would come back to bite him later.

I would see how a human may be a choice they'd go with-that's what they've done thus far. And I'd be fine with it.

I would prefer there be some undiscovered alien race-something from the outer regions of wild space, that reveals itself. That could be interesting, something none of us have ever seen before...

 

Plo Koon was a Kel Dor (or Kel Dorian) from Dorian, they have their own Force using order called the Baran Do sages.
