I doubt the first three will ever be made, but i like to hope. I say Battle of Rusaan, Ruusan, Ruusaan, (however it is spelled) would be very compelling and good for a group that wants good fighting and a relatively shorter game.

I'd like to see an updated NJO sourcebook, say one that goes all the way through the series.

I want to see a post-ROTJ up to the start of the NJO. Stats for Thrawn, the Ssi-Ruuk, the Jenessari, Pellaeon, some of the new vehicles and ships.

The Chiss Ascendancy and Empire of the Hand sourcebook

    The Ultimate NJO sourcebook

Legacy of the Force sourcebook (not based on the upcoming series, more one of all the different Force using groups, and their abilities, based on Jacen's recent learnings.)

A new starships one would be good too, as well as a Rise of the Empire sourcebook.

New Republic Sourcebook, covering from Truce at Bakura to Vector Prime. This would add a *lot* to what we know of the era. I believe that Abel Pena (the joint-author of those superb Kyle Katarn articles) had expressed interest in doing a sourcebook like this.

Ultimate NJO Sourcebook, which would cover what the first one didn't and would include info on the Dark Nest Trilogy and perhaps the Legacy of the Force Era.

Clone Wars Sourcebook, was supposed to be in production, but it wasn't completed when WotC switched from mainly SW RPG to mainly minis. This would be a great enhancement!

Knights of the Old Republic Sourcebook, to better tie in the comics and the games. It could add some of the stuff we've seen in the game to the actual RPG.

Of course, all these are doubtful while Wizards' focus is on the minis game, but they can't do that forever. Hopefully. [face_praying]

The Clone Wars sourcebook would be awesome! With stats for all of the types of clones and droids and ships and starfighters and everything. That's the one I want. An ultimate NJO would be cool too, but nowhere near as much as the Clone Wars.

Add a revised Dark Side Sourcebook and Starships of the Galaxy and that's my list as well.

here's the order of books i would want to see:

1- KOTOR/TOTJ era sourcebook, with ships and stats and the Jedi Sentinel class and era-specific maps of the galaxy, information on the time period between TOTJ: Redemption etc.

2- Clone Wars era sourcebook. lots of info about playing Separatist characters and the CIS organization and all its sub-factions, maps of the galaxy at different stages of the war a la the NJO book, ships, characters, specialist clones. this might not be the worst place to put a bunch of info about the Senate Guard (aka the Blues), as well.

3- Ultimate Starships, sorted by era, then sub-sorted by class of vessel. including a huge number of small stock freighters of different kinds, as well as small pirate craft or mercenary ships or what-have-you.

4- Mandalorians and the Independent Factions: big sourcebook on the Mandalorians and other big non-Force-using independent groups, especially the Morgukai, Black Sun, the Anzati assassins, the Hutt kajidics, the Nebula Front and other terrorist organizations (Red Iaro, Bando Gora, the Flail, etc), various criminal coalitions like the Stark Commercial Combine and the Smugglers' Alliance, etc.

5- Force Adepts book, including expanded RPG information about every non-Jedi/Sith Force-using faction or group, including the ones from the HG as well as the Fallanassi, the Witches of Dathomir, the Potentium Heretics / Zonama Sekot, the Aing-Tii, etc.

    6- Revised Dark Side book.

7- Revised POTJ book, with less stuff on alien races and more stuff on lightsaber forms, the post-NJO Jedi Order, etc.

8 - revised NJO book, with the events past SBS as well as the period between TUF and TJK.

    9- New Republic book.

None of the above. J/K defeniantly KOTOR

But what do you guys think of this idea:
An Unkown regions source book. We actualy know quite a bit about the unkown regions, plus we could put it all in one place. Seriously, you known how many new races we could add, and some starships, weapons and maybe even adventures as a joiner or member of the Empire of the Hand? Plus making up stuff never hurt.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to see more adventures published. WotC has been heavy on source material, but it seems they've been very skimpy on adventures. WEG wasn't much better (they only published something like 30 in 10 years), but really, that's what is desperately needed.

I'd rather have Gamer back over any sourcebook

No! What annoys me about the RPG is that if you want to use everything, you have to find scattered books and gides. Gamer only makes that problem worse.

I want a big, fat, hardcover, full-color Ultimate Starships. I want revised starship design rules. I want stats on the TIE Defender that make it into the best starfighter in the galaxy that it is. I want stats for famous ships, unique ships, and flagships (like the Peregrine, Outrider, and Tantive IV). I want counterpart rules for starfighters that use astromechs.

In short, I want perfection and I want it yesterday. Is that so much to ask?

Plus, there is a lot of stuff they could convert from the old rpg-like the ships from Cracken's threat dossier.

What sourcebook would I like Wizards to publish?.... I'll say it in one word: ANY!!!

It has now been 15 months since the last sourcebook, Ultimate Adversaries was released. WotC missed a golden opportunity to release sourcebooks in time with the final Star Wars film.

Oh, and the mini's adventure sourcebooks don't count. Other than a few rpg stats in the last one, they royally suck!

That's interesting.... over in the d20 discussion forums at swrpgnetwork.com, there is a fan-made Revised New Jedi Order Sourcebook being worked on. It can be found here:

Wizards have obviously given up on their Star Wars RPG publishing. I mean, it was a no-brainer to release an Ep3 Sourcebook or something like that coinciding with the movie's release, yet they did nothing. And now they are giving away the gold with web articles on Ep3 characters, ships, vehicles, etc.... They've let it go...

IF they ever went back to publishing, I'd love another of their planets books, the Coruscant and Geonosis books are the best things they ever published. Maybe a Mid-Rim or whatever book...

I really don't mind them giving away some stuff for free. Another Galactic Gazetter would be awesome! More Planet Hoppers would be great, too. When the last one (Bespin, before the Byss and the Deep Core articles) ended, we were told the next one would be Kashyyyk or Dagobah, but I guess they didn't make it. :(

Abel Pena (Dark Forces Saga writer) has said that he's looking into another series of articles, but its nothing more than at rumor/preplanning-stage right now, if its even ever written at all.
