Which teams do you hate the most? (any sport)

Simple enough question. Everyone has some teams that they love to hate. Whether that team is a rival for your favorite team, or their players are loathsome, or the team just keeps on winning all the time, there are always teams ripe for hatred.

For me, my top 5 would have to be:

1) Los Angeles Lakers
2) New York Yankees
3) New England Patriots
4) San Antonio Spurs
5) USC Trojans (Football)

An honorable mention goes out to the Oklahoma City Thunder (AKA the Zombie Sonics). I don't hate the players or anything, and I really respect how well the team is doing this year. I just hate the fact that they got relocated from Seattle.

 

Oh, man. Let's see...I don't think that I can narrow it down to five easily. I think if I narrowed it down to five, this is what it would be.

I think this thread is a great way to measure how far the U has fallen. If this question were asked from 1980-2005, I bet they'd appear in many responses. Now they're irrelevant: an afterthought.

 

The Zombie Sonics would be the coolest team ever.

Entirely University of Southern Calfiornia. You name the sport. I'm still not entirely comfortable hanging out around the USC campus on Wednesdays.

 

I think that there is truth to that statement. As a Penn State fan, I'm still sort of bitter about those two mysterious extra seconds from the 2005 season that would have left the Nittany Lions undefeated. If they were still good, I would probably bump them up higher on my list. Not as high as Ohio State, but pretty close.

Being a Raiders fan, I'm surprised nobody's listed Oakland on their list.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (doing even worse than the Raiders, LOL)

3. NE Patriots (not the team personally, but more of a Belichick-hate)
4. Russian 2010 Vancouver games delegation (spectacular display of poor sportsmanship in various events, not to mention the sour grapes from Putin/Medvedev)

They're in the same situation as the aforementioned Hurricanes. Except the Raiders do get more exposure because they're such a punchline.

And I hope SLR finds this thread. I'd like to see his stance on UCLA. And Rutgers.

1. Pitt Panthers in any and all sports. I have to hate them as a WVU fan.
2. Virginia Tech Football - Traitors! That and we kinda hate each other.
3. University of Michigan Football - I love seeing Rich Rod's continuing success. And the fact they make me have to root for Ohio State once a year makes me hate them more.
4. New England Patriots - I'm just tired of them.
5. Notre Dame Football - I'm tired of people trying to make them relevant again. They are not.

NCAA Football - $0 - This is the minimum salary, a few hundred thousand below what the average player makes at USC.
