Since there is no gaurentee that any one of these theaters will be getting Episode II, I would just like to know what people prefer if the top choice is not available.
I voted, but truth to tell I don't care where as much as just seeing it
I voted for Loew's but their tickets might go on sale when we are in Indy. So that could play a part in it. We should here about advance tickets someetime next week.
Does anyone who is not going to the Celebration want to buy tickets for me if they go on sale while we are in Indy?
hopefully it won't come to that or we can get them online.
Well, i'm betting my money that Carmike Cinemas at South Hills Village will have EPII. I waited in line there from 6am to 10am to get tickets for TPM the day it came out. I will be doing the same thing for EPII. Nice theater. Stadium seating is always good.
fluke I'm digg'n the E.T. icon, nice.
ET? Oh, you must mean Tarn Kibute, the smuggler/universal alien of mystery.
The only thing I don't like about Loews Waterfront is the darn seating. The upper tier of seats are reserved for some ridiculous amount of money, although I'm willing to spend it to see Episode II.
I suppose there will be no midnight showings?
If we go with Loews we're going to get the VIP seating, for episode II you have to, to have the ultimate experience
how much is it?
Not sure, I could find out for you Liz.
VIP tickets are $5 more than whatever the regular price is; so I think it should be about $13. You get a $5 coupon to use at the bar/restaurant for any non-alcoholic item.
Now that I think about it, a midnight showing should be sold at matinee price, shouldn't it? I doubt it will be though.
Hi, I just registered the other day but glad to be talking with everyone. Me and a friend are actually making the pilgrimage to Cleveland to their Digital Projection theatre that Wednesday morning. I dont know of any midnight showings yet, but this trip will be well worth the format. If for any reason we don't go, well see everyone at Loews because no other theatre in Pittsburgh compares.
Does anyone know if loews is going to have a midnight show on the 16th?
and when are advance tickets going on sale at loews(or anywhere in PGH)?
any help here would be hot.
We believe that Loews will have a midnight showing, but nobody knows when they will go on sale. So if you find out, come here and tell aus ASAP.
Brett, do you think you could get the GM to cooperate with us for the line up? If we are there from morning to midnight, we could probably get some decent news coverage and radio stations to show up as well as collect money for whatever charity Loews uses, which should all help attract attention to the theater. This might not be feasable however, depending on the way ticket sales are handled.
Tickets go on sale May 3rd at lowes and there will be a midnight showing... Im pretty sure May third is the big presale date across the board... im getting my midnight tickets from Lowes and ill probably get the 7:00 showing and 10:00 showing at a small theater out by me called 356.
20 days till the big show
May 3RD??? Please tell us how you know this. If this turns out to be right I am going to be super pissed. Lucas will end up pissing off many of the biggest Star Wars fans who will be at the celebration.
Fluke could you call the theater and find out? It's long distance for me and my cell phone isn't free until 9 pm.
my sister told me and her best friend knows the manager of lowes so my tickets are already set up... as far as i know it is most likely may erd unless Lucas changes it. i found that odd too... for TPM tickets went on sale the monday beofre not the friday... odd indeed.. i would think the box office would plan the ticekt release on a day where less people would be attending the theaters like a monday but as far as i have heard the tickets at lowes will be released the 3rd
