Sure, honoring a woman who helped to run a major television studio (and later became the 1st woman to do so as the sole person in charge) in the 50's & 60's, and is arguably one the greatest entertainers this country has produced (the legacy of I Love Lucy speaks for itself) is indeed quite questionable.

Here are the professions of people who've been on US currency: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lis...tates_banknotes#Summary_of_titles.2Fpositions

Some entertainer isn't going to cut it particularly against two suffragettes/abolitionists, an explorer and a First Lady.

    Sacagawea or Dolly Madison.

If she's going to be sharing the bill with Hamilton, make it a woman from the same time period.

EDIT -- And keeping like time periods, redesign the $20 to feature Theodore Roosevelt and Susan B. Anthony.

Point Given I'm not under any illusions that Ball would ever make it, but I still find her to be a worthy candidate.

I thought it was the $20 bill that was being targeted, because Andrew Jackson is... not well-liked by most people who know about him. But I guess the $10 bill is less widely circulated, so sure, why not put a woman on there?

Also, I would like to suggest Sojourner Truth. Partly because she has one of the most awesome names ever.

I've heard both Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks' names being bandied about. I'd be fine with either.

Not really because of Jackson. The $20 was targeted because the 19th Amendment granting women the vote was ratified in 1920. Since the bill redesign was set for 2020, coincidentally the centennial, the idea was to put an American Woman on it.

    Stay away from meeeee.

Who the hell has a use for a $19 bill? $15 would make much more sense.

I voted for Susan Anthony but I could see Tubman too. Either of those two I would like.

If not those two then Kim Kardashian.

This sucks. I actually enjoy $10 bills. Every time they put women on currency in the US people stop using it and it gets discontinued. Can't we put one on the penny or something?

Die pennies die! Yeah, look what happened to Sacajawea. That was an oversized coin though. A $10 bill is a surer bet.
