The answer is the bill should not be changed. Truth is a woman is being chosen because its politically correct, not because a change is needed. Its a pity change, and in my opinion that's even more insulting to women.

Now, from a comedy, screwing around standpoint:

What the hell are Waron Men? Do you mean Walrus Men, like the ones from The Revenge of the Jedi?

The only reason for that is the damn dollar coins are either mistaken for quarters in the case of Susan B. Anthony or they are laughed off as "play money" as in the case of Sacagawea.

Fun note though....while the Sacagawea coins have quit being mass-produced for circulation, they are still being minted and sold as part of each year's proof set by the US Mint.

Why should folks featured on currency be limited to political figures? :p

Do you actually believe she should be on it? If so, why?

Sure, why not? Her accomplishments as a studio executive were historic, never mind the cultural impact of I Love Lucy. As I alluded to earlier on this page, why should people on currency be limited to the political realm? I don't see a problem with honoring Americans from all walks of our cultural spectrum.

And let's face it....Sacagawea's inclusion is far more cultural than political.

Besides, we'd be getting Lucille Ball as a serious 20th Century businesswoman, not the Vitameatavegamin Girl.

    fixed. :p

As for women on the bills, they should be. Women have contributed throughout our past and should be recognized. This is a no brainer.

Putting someone like Lucille Ball on currency without putting any other women on currency would send the message that we are only good for entertainment, or that's what we're best at.

I don't think people on currency need to be limited to the political realm, which is why I mentioned Sally Ride; there are other women scientists who would fit the bill (pun intended) as well.
