I liked the part of the shopping trip and it was sweet that Jacen could hide his purchase within Mara's for her twins --- luckily the babes are all girls.

Riveting and heart-warming mix Glad this was a two-fer! Definitely Luke's danger sense had reason to flare when it did. Glad his family is all together though.

 

Birth is a beautiful process but one that is fraught with problems. I was there when my youngest nephew was born and the poor little guy got stuck because he was at a bad angle. If the midwife had realized that he needed to drop down she would have helped directed him in that direction but he had a big head and my sister is on the small side.

Such a sweet moment.

 

Whew!! I'm glad the twins and Mara are okay. I hope they catch Callista soon.

Chapter 30 -- I enjoyed when Ben ratted out Callista to Luke -- the bold 3 year old being the protector of his Mom. And then how he wanted to rejoin Mara on the bed to be near her was so cute. Cilghal showing Luke was damage had been done to Mara's placenta, etc. was creepy but it was good to know they were dealing with a Force user.

Love this warm moment they share --- it's yummy!

Chapter 32 - Had me worried here for a moment -- but am glad to see Ben is every bit his mother's son by trying to fight back against Callista.

No doubt in my mind that Mara would not win here, but I like how she pointed out that she didn't kill her when she had the chance.

I know this is a usual thing to say but hearing the exchange was Luke and Mara is just too darn cute. I love the family stuff.

Looks like we have a battle coming though.

 

“I knew I married you for a reason!” He snickered, and then leaned toward the baby he had just finished changing and cooed to her: “Yes, Mommy is a very smart lady. Isn’t she, baby? Hey, Mara, she smiled! Samira smiled at me.”

“No, Skywalker, it’s gas!”
