White Stripes- Elephant

Right- thinking of buying this album cuz i couldnt be arsed obtaining it 'otherwise' and i'm jus wondering what ya all think. I really like the single 'Seven Nation Army'. There's been alot of hype- i.e. best thing in ages, etc blah blah blah!! I've read quite a few reviews online which have been from lukewarm to good. So, without jumping on a bandwagon and blindly saying its great, whats everybody's honest opinion?

Plus the girl in the band aint bad either! Somebody else can have the brother

 

I?ve found it a little disappointing to be honest. I'd say that I probably prefer their previous album 'White Blood Cells?. Although saying that, I?ve only listened to their new one all the way through a few times. It might just be a bit of a grower.

 

I loved it. Better than the last one! But it now!

 

Yes, get it, it is ace. Although there are no other tracks on the album like Seven Nation Army. The rest is pretty laid back bluesy rock.

 

Yes buy it.

Just as good as their last album, possibly a little better.
