    I'm curious if we see a new Jedi in the trailer. Would be fun if someone shows up and we have no clue who the guy/girl is

    I can see it now: a voice speaks from the shadows telling of the prophecy, and how it was wrong. The chosen one was, in fact:

    I believe Snoke is Darth Plaguis. I know he is very controversial! At that time period ,Snoke was the most powerful Sith that ever lived. Killing him won't be easy. He cloked his death!

    Well the thread title was specifically "who are the JEDI...?" So I based off of that titling, as it didn't say "who are the Force users...? That's why I mentioned Leia is "technically not a Jedi"-by title, which was what I interpreted the thread topic to be regarding.

    To which I used Leia to justify how Ben got his mind reading skills.

    I believe Ben to have been a Jedi before he turned since he was on missions with Luke.

    Since Rey isn't a Jedi yet and likely won't be one until Ep. 9 I'm thinking the last Jedi, isn't simply Luke, but also Yoda, and Obi-Wan. They were collectively the last of the Jedi and with all the rumors that Yoda and Kenobi might pop up in TLJ I think that's who the last Jedi are. Psych! It's just Luke people! Quit overthinking it!

    It was confirmed that JEDI in the title The Last Jedi is plural so you are probably spot on stache!

    Your know fun , but your right . Luke is the last Jedi it doesn't take rocket science to figures it out
    But on that note what if some how through the force Yoda Obi Wan and Anakin come back to sold form to help Luke for awhile then return back. I I it's dumb but a thought

    Plural = gender neutral

    It appears that plural title may not be about the number of the Jedi but that they didn't want to define gender since many languages actually have that unlike English (The Last Jedi could be male or female as well as singular or plural).

    Mikda you have been warned before not to stack your posts like you did above. Either edit multiple posts together with the edit button, or wait until someone else posts before posting again. This will be your last warning about this.

    I'm surprised no one is yet claiming that frog nun is a Jedi.

    These nuns in TLJ could be a forerunner to the Jedi, or a whole new Force religion.

    The Spanish title (for Spain), is Los Ultimos Jedi. This is just gender neutral, this implies more than One Jedi. Singular would've been El Ultimo Jedi

    ObidioJuan Rian says it's singular. So I guess that's settled regardless of foreign translation. And it's Luke which makes sense.

    Interesting, even though Disney has a long tradition of being really good with their translations going so far as to having all their movies re-drawing the on-screen text to show the local language (Snow White, Toy Story, etc.), that they will have such a gross miss-translation for a Star Wars Movie.

    But I guess it makes sense that there's only one Jedi and it's Luke and it's not Plural. But then why did they first said it was meant as a Plural?, missdirection?
