All in the same manner as well not near enough time given to establish relationships and development.

 

Oooh. I always forget about Qui-Gon.
I'd honestly love to see a spinoff exploring his character at some point.

 

Especially if it has Count dooku.

 

For me it's not that they were underused in Episode I-III ,it is only the fact that I want to see more of them (in the Canon) : -Nemoidians(especially Rune Haako and Lott Dod now)

-Lars (young Beru,Owen Lars and Cliegg Lars)
-Shmi(kind of)
-Captain Panaka
-Jar Jar Binks (yes I'm serious)
-Qui-Gon Jinn

-Anakin and Obi Wan(between TPM and AOTC)
-Techno Union(Way Tambor etc.)
-San Hill
-Corporate Alliance
-Naberrie family

Darth Maul above all else - glad we have the CW content though! I also think the background Jedi could have been used more in AOTC & ROTS. The battles all seem so brief, as well as Order 66. Again, thanks to the CW we got to see several Jedi developed.

 

Count Dooku was underused, same with Kit Fisto. I feel Bail should've had more of a role, and the birth of the Rebels shouldn't have been cut.

Last but not least, Aayla Secura...because I pretty much love her.

 

Dooku, Maul, and Grievous were all underused and underdeveloped. Grievous wasn't even really necessary, they could of just had Dooku be the main secondary villain throughout ROTS, and having Vader slaughter him in dark side fury with the rest of the Separatists would have been wicked cool. Obviously that didn't happen but I feel that Dooku was a real missed opportunity in the PT. Maul should have survived until Episode II. There could have been some way to fit him into the plot.

Well - I'm presuming this is strictly canon Prequel Trilogy - so no EU characters then?

Given these candidates surely would do nicely:

1.) Admiral Yularen (more on his development)
2.) Grand Moff Tarkin (or rather 'Captain Tarkin' during the Clone Wars)
3.) Jango Fett as he was growing up on Concord Dawn up to Galidraan and Phantom Menace and events of AOTC?
4.) Darth Plagueis (as he was mentioned in ROTS) would have done very very nicely - in displaying the upbringing and high-standard of Sith Training he subjected Palpatine to ...
5.) Jedi Masters - Evan Piel? Eeth Koth, Agen Kolar, Yaddle, Adi Gallia, Quinlan Vos, Oppo Rancis...

Then again - if we count the EU - K'Kruhk and Rahm Kota would do nicely - as the two were in the EU for the matter Order 66 Jedi survivors ...

Bail Organa, Obi Wan, Mace Windu (Actually pretty much every PT Jedi), Padme, Dooku, Cody...dare I also say Dex (he works as a cameo, but he sounds like he'll have very good stories).

I'd also love an entire movie about Padme's handmaidens kicking ***.

I think Padme should have had a bigger role in ROTS.

 

Maul, Bail, Dooku, Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura (rip her one line that was cut) and even Grievous.

Grievous only gets on my list because he was so much cooler in the original Clone Wars than he could have ever hoped to be in ROTS. I would've liked to see him actually do more "General'ing" and being a warrior instead of coughing and running away for 95% of the movie.

 

Yes, Dooku should have at least been in or mentioned in TPM.

Also I would love seeing more of the less important Jedi characters.
