JCC Who deserves a comeback?

Can be an actor/actress, musician, someone on here, etc.

I'm going with Nic Cage obviously.

 

My first thought was Kate Beckinsale, but no, comeback implies she went away or needs a change.

But are they theatrical releases or the DTV crap he's been doing since 2013?

It sucks because I thought Joe (which is a great film) would kickstart his career again, but then he did Left Behind 5 months later.

look man nicolas cage does what he wants. as kind of an expert i can tell you that for his entire career you've had to take the good with the bad.

I've said many times that Next is the world's best kept secret candidate for greatest sci fi movie of all time. Not to turn this into another Cage thread.

Eddie Murphy, Nick Nolte, and the 48 Hours franchise are all ready for a comeback.

Mr. Church, I think, was intended to be a comeback for Eddie Murphy. Man did that movie tank.

His last truly great film was Bowfinger in 1999 imo.

Robert de Niro. He used to be great, one of my davorite actors (I am a big dan of the "Godfather" movies also )

But his recent films kinda suck, honestly...

 

he's like a hundred years old. give him a break.

You have a career that includes 5 or 6 outright classics, you don't have to prove anything in your mid 70s. Just take the $15 million paycheck whenever you feel like it.
