Don't worry Valyn! I couldn't get the walker until we rented Rogue Sqaudron a second time.
I almost made one full turn, but I always lose control when the screen changes format!
This is starting to PISS ME OFF!
The screen will always change when the tow cable connects. If you fly too far away, it will disconnect and go back to normal view.
I can't steer the darn thing when it's in that view! For some reason, once the cable's launched, my speeder always flies AWAY from the Walker in spite of which way I try to force the joystick!
Is there a code to skip this level???
Oh. I forgot to tell you because it isn't on Rogue Squadron 2 (which I'm playing now), but the steering when the tow cable is connected is backwards: steer left and it will go right and vice versa.
Who DESIGNED this!?!?!? A MORON!?!?!?!?!?
*realizes that a lot of my recents posts have included crying*
It's this darn game's fault!
*moves away from the emotionally unstable gameplayer*
that veiw change caught me every time i did it too
"Bring down the walker (AT-AT)
Don't fly at the walker; you don't want it to be directly in front of you. Instead you want to get side by side with the walker and then hit the secondary weapon button right when you are next to it. If you just hear 'click click' when you fire that button, then you are not close enough to the legs of the walker yet. Also, don't wait for your wingman to tell you to fire the harpoon. Just release it as soon as you are next to the walker. Once the cable is released, your screen will change and you will get a different view of your ship. You are still controlling your ship so you need to make sure you immediately start to turn to the left or the right (depending on which side the walker is on) to continue circling around the walker. Don't get too far from it or your cable will be released. Once you have circled around the walker three times, he will fall and you will be able to continue in the mission."
pulled that off lucas arts
Thanks, Infiltrator! *runs off to try*
Lol. Go Valyn!
c'mon valyn, you can do it...
I couldn't do it! I crashed right into the blood thing!!!
*sigh* Take the game back to the shop and get a refund.
Poor Valyn... *pats the guy on the back*
Refund? I RENTED it!
So?? Say the game is screwy and use your Jedi persuasive skills
I have this game until Monday and I'm going to take down that Walker even if it's the LAST thing I do! *goes at it again*
You can do it Valyn!!!
I tried half a DOZEN times and EVERY time I kept turning in the OPPOSITE direction I NEEDED to go in!!!! I HATE this thing!!!!!
I bought RS cheap for the PC a couple of years ago. After many many tries on the walker I just gave up. The game has been sitting in my room ever since.
And I believe Jag has the white streak from the injury that gave him scar.
Valyn, if you can, sit as far off to the left or right of your tv as you can. If possible, sit next to your tv, facing the same way it does, and lean around to look at it.
It helps align your perspective so when instinctively turn left or right, you'll be turning in the direction you want it to.
Fishi's tormenting me with the color pink. Help me!
" After many many tries on the walker I just gave up. The game has been sitting in my room ever since."
Why did they make this so hard? I rented it because I thought it would be fun! *cries harder*
Quit your whining and try my advice.
