    All those choices are wishful thinking, some of them wouldn't touch it with a 50 foot pole. I say they should approach Crichton to direct the film himself

    I agree with you 100%.

    I'm curious to see what Crichton's directing take on the Jurassic Park films would be like. That be interesting.

    If Spielberg can't direct, then the person who should would have to know how to balance the special effect and not let them overwhelm the story. Peter Jackson would be great as it might be a two and half - three hour Jurassic Park flick.
