Who do you think the whole Star Wars saga is about?

Who is the main person of the saga? My vote is on Anakin.

 

The Star Wars saga isn't about a person. It's about a place. A galaxy far, far away.

 

Anakin is an important character but I don't think he's the main character. He's in all 6 parts but so is Obi-Wan and C3PO & R2D2.

 

Of course the Story is about Anakin, it is in fact the story of his life, since he was a child, his rise, fall, and redemption

That is why there will never be chapter 7,8 or 9

imo, the whole saga is centered around Anakin and his impact on the galaxy.

The saga is about the rise, fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. There are also other real world themes sprinkled throughout the saga.

I think the main character is Anakin, though I would say family is what the whole story is about.

OU-812, I'm editing your post to keep the horizontal scroll bar out. I think we get your point, however spurious. There's nothing wrong with making money, and no movie makes money at all unless the story is good and focused. Even if he's telling the story for money, it's the story we're discussing here.

And the full saga is Anakin's--his fall and redemption. There's a fall in each of the prequels (Amidala in TPM, Dooku in AotC, and finally Anakin in Ep3), and a redemption in each of the Classic (Han in ANH, Lando in ESB, and finally Anakin in RotJ), and each trilogy has an ongoing hero of its own (I'd say Obi-Wan in the prequels and Luke in the Classic). But it's Anakin's story that forms the shape of all of it.

 

Lucas currently says it's about Anakin, I say it's about Luke. If he made another three movies he would say it's about whoever is in those movies.

In the Senate, when she does Palpatine's bidding, which combines the descending movement with the image of Palps whispering in her ear like the serpent in the Garden. In that view, Jar Jar might be an even better example than Dooku as a fall in AotC.

 

The story is about the greatest Jedi ever! Obi-Wan Kenobi! Anakin wasn't in all six films. The Official site databank says he was only in I, II, and VI. Vader is counted as a different character.

 

I'm gonna have to say, Obi-Wan. He was in every film with 3PO and R2-D2. Anakin is just a side character. The story is also about Mace Windu, a little!
