Idaho Who do you think will die in the next Star Wars novel?

I haven't read many of the expanded universe, but I know enough about the books, especially the most recent ones to know that a major character is likely going to die. Jacen tried to kill his own parents for goodness sakes!

It is my belief that the Legacy comics have been preparing us for what is inevitable, Luke Skywalker will die.

That's my theory anyway.

What about everyone else? What do you think?

 

Not to nitpick, but it is the novel after "Exile" called "Sacrifice" where a major character "might" die. I think it will be Leia.

 

Leia is the "Sacrifice". She means alot to Luke and of course is Jacen's mother. Based on what he tried in "Tempest" I think she and Han may be in for alot of trouble.

 

I think Jar Jar will die.

 

It is not Luke that dies anytime soon. In the preview for Inferno it talks about how the death of someone close to him and everyone else has him in some serious grief. I personally think that it will be Mara but I hadn't thought about Leia to much. It could be either one.

 

Mara is a popular theory.

 

Yeah I thought about it alot Jacen and his mother have a strong connection and With Jaina and his father pretty much disowning Jacen, I believe it to be his mother. She is a big enough character that it would effect everyone close to Jacen.

Sister to the Grand Master Jedi
Wife to Han Solo
Mother to Jacen and Jaina
Aunt to Ben Skywalker
and best friend to Mara Jade.

I did not want to tell you Eric, the theroy I had but it made so much sence to me the other day when I told you who I think may die. It would surely be a sacrafice, and would have over half the galaxy prob wanting to gun for him.

 

It really does make alot of since on every level.

he has to make a sacrafice to be free and to claim the title of Sith Lord. it is like a trial for a jedi but it is the trial of the Sith. To give up something that means so much to you and be willing to let all go for your belief. I do not think he will kill his daughter for he said in temepest that if she died then it would not matter if he took the title of sith lord or was a jedi cause he would have no reason to save the galaxy.


Anakin had to wipe out the Jedi.
Bane had to wipe out the Sith.
Revan defeated the Mandalorians.
Exar Kun had to prove himself to the sith of old.
