Food is important. It will determine the quality of the film.

It really makes a difference when you have made to order food, like pastas and such, instead of just hotplates. Trust me on this one. And they should definitely spring for a coffee cart.

    Taco Bell.

The mere thought of them having to eat that will encourage them to avoid it and keep working.

Depends on where they film. Gotta get the regional flairs going. And the amount of vegetarians in California eliminates the easy #1 choice of In-and-Out Burger (as it would on the east coast with Five Guys and the midwest with Steak n' Shake).

Well, actually, mostly we just ordered food directly from restaurants. Because we're cool like that. But I have a passing knowledge of crafty. And I'm just saying, don't get that one company we used that had to individually wrap all foods due to health code concerns.

Actor #1 (seeing craft services table laden with doughnuts and burritos): This is where the fun begins!

Actor #2 (seeing same): I have a bad feeling about this....

Trader Joes. I have only recently discovered them... yeah, yeah I know :p , But they would keep cast and crew well fed and happy so they can put they're all into their work.

I'm willing to work crafty. I have good taste in snacks.

Ugh. The only thing good from Trader Joe's is their basic salsa. Whole Foods is even worse; there is nothing worth eating there.

Nah, he'd abolish the catering and let the cast and crew handle it individually.

Local. Green-sourcing demands you consider the environmental impact of the entire supply chain.

Unless, of course, you have lots of money to burn, in which case you can fly in food from the other side of the world if you want.

Biscuit Baron or Dex's Diner. Actually, I could totally see Disney open Star Wars theme restaurants in its parks. They've opened movie-themed dance clubs already.

Much of local production actually has a greater negative environmental impact than big business because it is inefficient. I agree that it will be more convenient, though, and likely tastier.

Mos Eisley Cantina restaurant in a Disney park would be awesome.

... er, what was the topic?

Trust me, I know. :) I'm in supply chain research. But, to be fair, the classic business/law answer of, "Well, it depends..." still applies.

I say caviar only catering, flown twice around the world before it gets there for that extra bit of aged taste.

Remember we are assuming this in film in the US, but what if its New Zealand or Hong Kong?

That would be most awesome. Do we get to lop off the arms of people we don't like?
