who else does not care about Soontir Fel

okay Ill be honest i didnt read all of the Rogue Comics but this is one character that keeps getting refrenced in the novels. I really dont understand why. Out of all the characters why is he so special. Personally I never really cared for him. I could really care less about him and his son and all that bullcrap. I personally hope he eventually fades into EU oblivion.

Why is he so special? Probably because of the fact that he was an Imperial version of Wedge. That is to say, he was a top Imperial pilot just like Wedge was a top Alliance/NR pilot. And just like Wedge, he's not Force sensitive. Of course the fact that he's married to Wedge's sister doesn't hurt his chances of becoming special either.

 

And, if you didn't already get the point, he, like Wedge, is a poster boy for his 'team'.

And he can fly pretty good, even with only one eye (as of HoT)

 

The Making of Baron Fel in the Blood and Honour TPB was a damn good comic. And he really shone in In the Empire's Service and more in Mandatory Retirement.

Because those comics were done so well, you get to appreciate his character all the more.

Like Jango. I don't give a hoot or boot for him. But the awesome Open Seasons changed my stance.

Perhaps I'd have liked the TOTJ characters better if everybody wasn't calling each other by their full names each time, or with spit lines in their mouths!

He's an okay character but not one Ive ever felt any real connection to.

 

Decent Character , and quite important in the saga , effectively being a link between the GFFA and the unkown regions and the Empire and Republic.

Written and developed well.

Besides, if nothing else, Tir is Wedge's brother in law.

 

All Ice Ages have to end. Jhc36 will mellow out sooner or later, and he'll be all anti-Vong in no time.
