My only problem was the AotC-esque scene with the train, which reminded me of the droid factory C3PO scenes...and I hate the CGI C3PO and his scene there...

The point that he could attach to the train without falling off and the train didnt just flatten him out (not like I want that to happen) in kiddie.

I think it was better than the AOTC stuff, because they didn't overdo it. It was mercifully short.

Of course...and as a cartoon it doesnt look out of place compared to the Toontown 3PO in AotC.

With exception to the train sequence (which, i agree, reminds a little of the added CGI 3PO antics in AOTC taht looked awful), I actually felt 3PO was brilliantly portrayed here- he struck me as perfectly OT in character- and even his aside after the train sequence was note-perfect enough to forgive the train sequence.

I actually liked 3PO, he had the OTness in him. Though the train part was a bit annoying - Hey, it's not as annoying as AotC's "Scrap Metal"

I dislike OT rehashing (like the type used in post-OT novels). C3PO reused too many notions from the original films than was tasteful...

I did love "I suppose I did ask for that", though, which totally redeems the train-goofiness [face_peace]

I liked 3-PO in this episode...yes, the train sequence did remind me of AOTC, but I thought it was well done, especially when he was screaming out for someone to stop this thing and the part someone here mentioned when he says he asked for it...and face it, that's what I like about 3-PO; the corniness.

I thought Threepio was pretty good this episode. It was a bit silly when he was hit by a train and wasn't just knocked to pieces (finding all of his pieces would've been a major pain), but it did allow Artoo to help out by stopping the train, which was a nice OT reference. Definitely not as bad as when Threepio's head got suck on a battle droid's. After that, when he was wandering around, I thought he was perfectly fine and normal for Threepio.

C-3P0 has always been a little dorky and corny, but you just gotta love him.
