Just wonderin who thought Shadow Hunter was good, and if you thought it was a good prequel to TPM.

I thought Shadow Hunter was good for one thing, it illustrated the fact that Darth Maul was not infaliable. In Episode I it appeared that he was a better fighter than Darth Vader (because of new technolgy and lack of a bulky suit of armor) so this book showed were Maul was lacking and his failure to get Lorn Pavan in the end. Palpatine had to set Pavan up for Maul. Just my opinion.

I liked it a lot. A fun read. Not a book you want to spend time over analyzing but still fun.

It was pretty darn good...a couple errors here and there, but overall pretty good. My only beef with it was that there wasn't enough Maul... :(

I liked it well enough..eventually. I disliked it at first; then I realized it was a good, interesting story.

It's pretty good. Not quite as satisfying a story as some other SW stuff I've read recently, but I enjoyed it.

I liked it much better than Cloak of Deception but they should have given Obi a day to relax before setting out on his next mission. :) It didn't have to be set that close.

IMHO, the book was great. I loved the little ironic twist at the end. :D

Yeah, you know what was REALLY sad? it was Lorn's thoughts before he died "He felt relaxed and calm knowing that the Holocron was delivered and the Jedi knew about the sith" lol poor guy.... I felt even worse for I-Five. Those Jedi's punked out. Especially the master

Probably spent the rest of his days whoring himself in bars. Poor guy.

And yeah, Lorn's last thoughts were ironic and grim but funny..

it's that dude's fault for TPM happening lol. If he wasn't such an ass and just delivered I-Five like Lorn told him to, everything would've been fine...and THEN he could've tricked I-5 into being deactiviated again and THEN he could've formatted his ass... Oh well... such a sad sad story...and little does Lorn know...his son is going to be slaughtered just 10 years later. lmao

Yup..shame he didn't decide to go to the Jedi. Although I can't foresee anyone finding anything tying Palpatine to the Sith..

    Very good book

Made Maul look kinda weak, Lorn and that Jedi chick outwitting him several times

Another cool thing is the book made Maul act like Boba Fett from BHW ( only read first 2... so dun spoil me :p )

    Ending is sad though :(

I thought it was a good book. A nice, fast paced action adventure.

I enjoyed it a lot. Though we knew, ultimately, how it would end, there were enough twists to keep the reader guessing. And it expanded the characterization of Maul in a way that wasn't possible on screen, as the books are supposed to do.

    Highly recommended!
