guys so i'm teaching a spin class this summer. I was wondering if any of you have done or do spin, and could tell me about why you like it or don't like it, or why you liked or disliked certain instructors! or you can use this thread to make fun of spin people, because most of them are *****es anyway.
I've done some spin classes in the winter when I can't get out on my bike. The main thing I dislike about them is that the spin bikes are super uncomfortable compared to an actual bike. If the bikes are adjustable I'd make sure you help your class adjust the bikes properly as that helps somewhat. My favorite instructors were ones who would tell stories or jokes or whatnot to make the time go faster as spin classes are pretty boring overall.
Thanks! That's a good tip. our bikes are adjustable, and I'm teaching a 'beginner' class, so I'll make sure to help the peeps out. That's good!
I've taken 2 spin classes in my life. The biggest problem for me was the music. I did really like the stories the one teacher had to tell though.
My sister drags me to spin class whenever I'm visiting family in Miami. Can't think of much in the way of advice, maybe just mix the music up so it isn't one type the whole class.
The only "spin class" I'm aware of is when that person got arrested as a long career as a spin instructor that turned to be a front for prostitution. So. . .I hope that's not part of your plan.
wocky, you gotta make the money where you can dude. don't hate on people for their personal life choices.
Yeah. What would you do if your son was at home crying all alone on the bedroom floor 'cause he's hungry?
