Canada Who has read the new Harry Potter book?

Best Harry Potter book yet. So much more complex. Much better story. The plot is thickening.

 

The plot *is* thick, yet I think she over did Harry's emotions.
Mabye it's because at that age I was acting much older and others were actually like that.
Or mabye he's just to whinny.

 

I just started reading the series last week, and have read the first four books in six days! It was crazy. I'm in the midst of the fifth book now. PoA was definitely my favorite so far! Percy drives me nuts! I'm glad he wasn't so awful in the movies!

Fred and George's flight = teh best scene!

Ya fred and george escaping was pretty cool.

 

I read it in one day, which is not a recommendation, unless you want to end having a conversation with the toilet. I liked it a lot but well let's say I threw it across the room when I foudn out who died. Oh well won't be the first time an author kills my favorite character. Anyways I still prefer Prisoner, but Phoenix is closely behind.

 

LOL...I actually think my favorite character is Professor MacGonagall. She rocks! Especially in OotP!!!

 

I have to agree with you Sar, she did rock in OotP. I loved the way she handled that Umbridge woman. I didn't stop cheering for her everytime she was telling off that woman.

 

She was cool but ya they did kill off the best character. I thought it was kind of pointless actually. now Harry has noone.

 

It was pretty dumb...i mean why couldn't it have been someone else that died!!!

I hated that too! It wasn't a bad book but it does kick you in the head at the end.

Well not drooling, but I got the chorus stuck in my head.

I watched it over and over again. My comp sucks, so I can't watch it here, but I can at school, so it's good.

 

Read the book when in first came out. Still angry about the death. He was my favorite character, and my love for the character built up even more during the book.

I have listened to the audio books a million times . . . I need the second one though . . . I'm willing to trade for another one of the books if you have the second one. PM/IM me.

 

The Order of the Phoenix was a big letdown for me. Only ecause I had been looking forward t it for so long. I read the first 4 books in the year 2000 and then had to wait a whole 3 years for the 5th book. Bad timing on Rowlings part I think.

 

Let's just hope the 6th won't take too long to come out.
I must agree Prisoner does look good, and is it just me or do the Dementors look a bit like the Nazguls in LotR?

Yeah finally we learn about his past and more about him, and she goes and kills him. Why not Lucius? Would have been less of a loss to me... I hope she doesn't touch Moony, or I'm going to lose it.
