Who is Dara Jade?

Who the hell is Dara Jade? Is she part of the EU? A fanon character? What?

I didn;t even kbow such a charcter existed until I saw an entry in wikipeida saying that she's the long lost sis of Mara Jade. Is that EU canon?

Dara Jade is a fanfiction character created by the guy who runs the lighsaber.com(he sight is a cool reference source for saber hilt designs used in SW) it's basically a character based on his daughter

 

Thanks for clearing that up guys. I'm glad it's not canon. Mara having a sister would have totally sucked and would have ruined Mara's mysterious origin.

 

And who the heck would name their daughter "Dara" anyway?

 

My evil genetics lab partner was named Dara.

If Dara were real, she would be of the Sith. That name wouldn't allow her to be anything else.

 

i know a Dara, and there's also a Thai restaurant downtown called Dara. perhaps in another culture, Dara has a meaning that works..
