Phx Who is going IN COSTUME to the STAR WARS Cine Capri Event???

Hey, I just thought it would be cool to get a tally of who is coming on the 26th in some sort of Star Wars costume. I will be there in my snazy new KYLE KATARN costume. And of course, my Dooku dad will be there with corrected Brown Cape by popular demand

I'll be going as a geek, wearing a star wars fan club shirt... does that count??

 

I'll be representing the Jedi Broad Squad rather than the Jedi Order.

Only if somebody dresses up as one. if the 501st is showing up then I assume there will be Imperial Costumes. Most of us like to sit down whenever we want though

 

Where are the rest of my Imperial bretheren?

EDIT: just so people don't get the wrong impression, I used the word "wuss" in reference to sitting. I was totally poking fun. Void and I kissed and made up offline.

 

Modified Jedi outfit, you might want to know the background of the character first to see if he's even a jedi before you start. Regardless of that, if you want Imperials...I may suggest doing it yourself.

835, you'll probably soon find that, while many of the DSG lurk here and read, not many post. Why? I don't know. As it is, they also consider themselves apart from us. Why? I don't know. Either way, you read the DSG mailing list, so you know very well how many troopers are going to be there. Relax.

I talked to Kevin last night. He said that most of the DSG is showing up. Vader and the new Darth Maul are showing up also.

I am working desperately to finish my ST armor in time. If I finish I will don the armor next week.

 

Great! What kit are you assembling? I've done 2 STs, with tons of mods to both, so I've been around the block twice so far. Let me know if you need some input.

Oh, and yes, I'll be in one of my suits at the show.

If the "Maul-guy" is Steve C and you know him, let him know he can get his ticket from me anytime.

i'll be in my slightly revamped jedi costume, possibly with a new belt.

 

My dad and I started working on my Katarn Costume today. We got the belt done... that was about it... but it took forever. We also got his new Dooku Cape and belt started.
We spent a good deal of time also on Sand_Dancer's Lara Croft belt for the 27th event!

 

I would have started a new thread, but since this is here I guess it kinda fits.

What is everyone dressing as for Friday night? I'm not one of the fortunate ones to be able to go on Thursday... I just want to see if I'm going to be the only Jedi there on Friday or not.

 

i'll almost definitely be in my slytherin robes, as they're slightly less cumbersome than my jedi stuff. it sort of depends on the weather, though.
