Who is going to AOTC IMAX November 1st?

I may not be able to do anything though since I can't get dressed up.

There will be Jedi Duels for the kids.

The New England 501st will be there to take pictures, and guard the doors.

 

Jedi_Knight150... I never said you couldn't DO anything because you couldn't dress up. All I said was that if you expected someone to pay to have their picture taken with you for charity, your costume had better be movie quality. That's all. Of course you can participate in handing out the Bantha Tracks etc...

 

I will be there as a spectator only.

 

I will be there as a Rebels t-shirt wearing Boston Rebel.

Leah, Roy and I were discussing the people helping out, and with your Padawan braid you could help the kids before their duel with Carrie.

We need people dueling (in costume -- Carrie and Roy, maybe more), people helping the kids before they meet their maker , people to help hand out Bantha Tracks #0 with the 501st, and people to help out with the Duel certificates.

 

when we do an event we always try to have what we call "wrangler" people in civies who help out behind the scenes. taking photos, getting water and generally helping out. all we are asking is a full count of costume attendies so that we can have some kind of numbers count. this isnt a dont come if you cant dress the part type thing. making this as organized as possible will be advantatious to us all.

I'll help the kids. I'll try and put together as much of a costume as I can. I'll remember to keep the padawan braid in.

there ya go. it makes things so much easier when you know who is going to show up. and having wranglers is sometimes as important as the actual costumed people.

now about this jedi duel...... i think it would make a lot of parents weary to have them fight with plastic sabers. as jedis you may want to have the impression that you are putting safety first. if you would like i may know where to get some foam sabers. its just food for thought.

i will be there in a costume i have been slaving over since mid-august. i dont know if it is "movie quality" but it sure as hell looks good...soo....there you have it.

I will be there along with DarthMoby, my wife and her best friend. Hope to be there around 6-630. I'll have a SW shirt on but I'm guessing it'll be cold so you won't see it right away But I know who you all are...

 

I really, really want to go. Gods I wish I had a transporter...or even just a speeder...I'll talk to my parents when they're here tomorrow, but it's doubtful that I'll be able to. Getting them to come up here to get me to the Con will be one thing. Getting them up here twice in one month is another...

 

Be really really nice to them. You MUST come. This event wouldn't be complete without you, master.

 

Sorry, shy of a miracle, I can't make it. I'm already going home three other times in November(for Vets Day, the con and Turkey Day). That would mean a third time my parents would have to drive up here to get me(Vet's Day weekend I get a bus). I really want to go, too. But fate doesn't seem to want to let me. Damn.
