I was being sarcastic. I'm actually ambivalent about going. I didn't buy a ticket to the Star War but I would consider hanging out in a McDonald's parking lot drinking cheap wine.

Don't go to Spain. I've been, it's full of reprobates. The SW thing is much better. It's full of fat reprobates pretending to be fictional characters.

 

I have this stupid job that requires me to be there. I demand Skype sessions though.

 

We have tickets and are really hoping to be able to make it.

 

I'm up for this. $30hh/$50hr.

 

I look forward to my drunk calls, from whoever has my number and goes (tradition, and all). Celebration drunk dials are the best.

Yes, on this subject. I have 2 blocks of 5 rooms reserved (one at the Marriott, one at the Hilton) because I could in case they were needed. As my room arrangements have been sorted (I'm sharing at the Marriott with someone who has booked a room also) I will not need any of these rooms so I am happy to transfer any of them to people that want them, otherwise I'll just be releasing them to the general pool.


And Rhonda, you need to come. I haven't seen you since C4!

I'll certainly be there, I put in for vacation a year ago.

 

I don't think I've ever bought a ticket for a something that was taking place nearly 2 years later.

BTW, someone told me that religious zealots hang out at the 7-11 on Harbor/Katella. When things get slow at the con, I'm gonna go check that out.

I won't be going to the actual convention because I'm staying spoiler-free, but I will most certainly drive down for hanging out purposes. There are tons of you guys I've never met but would like to. I can grab Darth Guy on the way and bring him as my present to everyone.
