FF:VIC Who is our Fanforce state rep?

Has anyone else noticed that LordVaderff has been stripped of his VIPship?

What does this bode for our forum. Who will be the new Vic rep?

AH, few things.

1) FF state reps are not voted upon, but instated by the Gods.

2) In all probability (considering we haven't been notified of a change) LordVaderFF has simply changed his colour settings to normal, as is the ability of a VIP/City Rep. I doubt his role has been changed.

Anyhoo, just my opinion, Don't be hanging our beloved yet intimidatingly Vaderish CR just yet...

Not true. When a new CR is needed for a chapter, they are voted in by the members of that chapter.

Wrong again. All the CRs were demoted, then given a reasonable amount of time (still going now) in which to check in to regain their CR status.

 

Ouch, Shara lays the word down on PoT.


If LVFF does not check in (God forbid), what is the process of nominating a new CR?

 

If he doesn't check in, I'll start a new thread asking for nominations. Only restriction I can think of right now is that CRs have to be over 18.

If/when it comes to that, I'll take you guys through it step by step, don't worry.

You may have to wait 6 months or so, half of VicFF is in Year 12.

 

What about the other half?

 

They're about 14.


In all seriousness, there are a few people around here who are over 18...their activity level may leave something to be desired, however.


May I ask why a CR must be over 18?

 

Well that's good for me. I just turned 18 last Wednesday. 29th same as JFK. Can I be the new CR? I'll be real good the city and I'll feed it and take it for walks every day, honest.

 

FF rules - mainly to do with the signing of contracts, and other such legalities.

And all CR's must be elected, m'dear, by a majority vote, after a nomination process, all votes being PMed to me.

Its not just about a blue name, you know. There is actual work that's supposed to be done with the title. The colours are to make the CR more easily recognisable to new people for the most part.

 

I fully understand the work and duties of the job. I reckon I'd make a pretty good CR.

So how long has old Lordvaderff got left to sign in?

And I'll say it again - all CRs have to be elected by majority vote after a nomination period where more than one person has the opportunity to be nominated.

 

I think most people are aware that actual responsibilities come with the jobs. A large proportion of the VicFF team is seasoned in the ways of the JC though, we're hardly newbies. Should LVFF not sign in, I would be glad to nominate Darth_Reign...that is, unless, you're willing to wait until September or so.

 

We'll have to see what happens, I guess.

 

I'm assuming that Grieyls, Sithleia etc. Already checked in to regain their status seeing as they still have the blue on their names.

What's going on in NSW? Did their CR forget to check in or is that election just to nominate a CR to replace you Shara? Seeing as you've moved up to Managership.

 

Yes, all the other CRs checked in.

And the election is to replace me - I resigned and we're electing a new one. It has nothing to do with me getting managerhood - I'm still the same tyrannical old RSA I used to be.

I don't know Reign, I reckon you would rock, but that new user Huggard seems so professional in all his dealings, I actual believe he is an English Teacher, so ethically he is possibly the only sane individual amongst us.

Apart from his recent user date registration, I think he would be a top candidate!

Thanks THX, and despite not being red, nor a fire engine, I do appreciate the confidence, but due to a stupid, pathetic rule concering 7 blooming months of existence give or take, I like Reign must choose to yield.

Who to?

Well, the one and only GOD of VicFF, the man who began the war to gain more members then simply Jet-Eye, Elegos and I, the man himself, Ross Huggard.

I asked him to join, and I think he's gonna check this place out!

Where the heck is LordVaderFF?

 

As far as I KNOW, he used to post from work...then he quit his job, and wasn't able to anymore.

So will we really elect a new city representative? And if so when?
