Who is the best Jedi in the EU!

Kyle Katarn. My favorite EU jedi. With the knowledge we know about him, and his past life.


For movies, it's gotta be Luke.

 

The "best" jedi? Meaning what?

 

Luke or Kyle. I'll give a more definitive answer after Jedi Outcast.

By best Jedi I assume he means the Jedi who best upholds the Jedi's ideals as understood at the time of the post RotJ EU according to that Jedi's abilities.

Not the best looking, or the kewlist, or anything.

Kyle Katarn. He is a strong warrior, he has a good story behind him and I like how he is torn between the lightside and the darkside in Jedi Knight II.

 

K'kruhk, Lilit Twosea's Whiphid Padawan from the Jedi Council: Acts of War comics, is my favorite EU-only Jedi (though it's a VERY close race between quite a few).

...*sniff!*... Poor guy!

I forsee that he became a great Jedi Knight.

 

I definately have to go with Kyp Durron. He's not only stong in the force, but he has the will to actually use it in the NJO novels (unlike Luke or any of the other powerful Jedi). Out of curiosity, why is Ben even an option? He's just a baby! He may well be powerful in the future (if the Vong don't kill him), but other Jedi's sh%@ has more combat capabilities than Ben does now.

 

Kyp is by far the best, but Luke would be if he'd use his power and not pass out.

 

I would definitely say Anakin.

 

Ulic Qel-Droma. How many other Jedi do we know of who have lost the ability to use the Force and still become a Jedi Master? Only one to my knowledge is Ulic.

 

Corran all the way. He is such a... a... don't know what to say. But he's really great; he's willing to act, but not without forethought. Read the dialogue in I. Jedi where Elegos patches him up after the Remart fiasco.

Really i have 2 fave jedi, mara and Jaina, but I'll go for jaina cos i know she'll kick ass in the njo at some point (maybe in SBS or DJ?)

 

I'd say Ganner. He almost gave his life and got scarred in the process. He chose to keep the scar to remind him of the path he almost followed and now never will.

Anakin Solo is by far the best.

 

Why is it that most of those mentioned show up in the NJO and we don't have too many that don't appear in the NJO? I know I'm not the only one to mention a non-NJO EU Jedi, but I am the only one to go even further back than the Prequel era to the ToTJ era.

 

Luke Skywalker is the best Jedi in EU!
