Isn't this thread kinda redundant? I mean, there's already several Survivor threads ... and if previous actions are any example (such as the closing of all but 1 LOTR threads) then this thread should technically be closed, as it's redundant ...

Wedge, I'm not trying to moderate this. I'm just sick and tired of having a show in which I have absolutely no interest rammed down my throat on a Star Wars board of all places. It's not even the same genre as SW ...

The thing that annoys me is that there'll be a thread posted here on Survivor that gets very few replies to it, and then another is started about some slightly different aspect of it. Very few of these threads ever develop into discussion, and usually become redundant. And THAT is what annoys me - honestly, if you're so wrapped up in that damn show, why not go post on Survivor boards, where all the people actually give a damn!

Also, Wedge, you can hardly talk about trying to moderate things around here ... didn't you recently attempt to moderate my love life? Stop just getting off on being a provoking little hypocrite.

Once again, if you don't want to talk about Survivor, ignore it. You're the one ramming it down your own throat by clicking on it. And if you don't want people to give you advice then don't bring your issues into the public domain.

I didn't post on my issues. My father did, without my permission, and you commented negatively - on an issue that DID NOT involve you. I know you want myself and the one I love banned more than anything - evident from the oh-so obvious fact you dug around to find the most obscure board, but one that had changed their colours for valentines day, then posted about it in WA. Man, you really are sad ...

But I'mmerely saying that if you can object to certain things, as you have done in the past, then so can I. It's my right. I loathe Survivor, and am sick of having it constantly i my face when watching TV shows I like. I just hate seeing it happen on boards as well where I attempt to go to escape mindless things, such as reality TV. One or two suvivor threads - fine by me. Whatever rocks your boat. But I hate to see boards dedicated to Star Wars end up with more Survivor threads than Star Wars threads.

At least things like Lord of the Rings are related on a film & Genre basis. Survivor is just trashy TV aimed at the weak-minded who aren't satisfied with a life of their own, they have to watch the lives of others.

 

I noticed in that thread in WA people were asking about the pink forums and I came across them in the JC being talked about, and since people wanted to see them in WA, I posted the link.

BTW, the whole JC changed the colours for a few hours on VD. So it's not like I even had to search for the colours if I waited. But since someone posted the link in the JC to the FF page, I posted it because of the general interest in WA.

You'd like to think that all I do on here is worry about you, wouldn't you? it couldn't be furthur from the truth. That, is sad.

I can't even remember the advice I gave you. but I definetely remember seeing a thread about your move posted by yourself.

This isn't just a Star Wars site. It's also a Star Wars fan's site. The fans can talk about whatever floats their boat. There is 4 topics on the front page here on Survivor (on the default 25 topics per page) and that traces back a week. So it's not being shoved down anyone's throat. One of those topics is an obvious piss-take too.

Once again, if it doesn't interest you, ignore it.
