Mace Windu is the coolest Jedi.

Duh.

 

In terms of looks, I'd go for Adi Gallia - those deep blue eyes really do it for me. Aayla isn't cool, she's hot. =)

In terms of characterisation, I'd vote for Qui-Gon. He's casual and laid-back, yet reliable and level-headed when needed. If he was still around he might have given Anakin the listening ear he needed.

On the swordfighting, I wish they gave Shaak Ti some fighting scenes. I read somewhere that Orli Shoshan was a military instructor before, which should give her some real melee combat training - she would have been awesome to watch.

 

No Way, Anakin is by far the coolest jedi of the saga. Even as a Sith Lord, he could still beat you with his Light-Saber.

um, i'm not at all familiar with any of the eu stuff. is that where you get the information about mace having a certain fighting style and who he learned it from and all that? where do i find this stuff? is it all in books? which ones should i start out with? by the way, i think mace windu would have been a lot cooler if he could have said "m*ther****er" and slapped people before he cut their heads off.

 

Obi-Wan is THE model Jedi. Splitting up the team -- first in AOTC, then in ROTS -- caused the fall of the Republic.

 

Qui-Gon is definately one of the most coolest Jedi! He was the one to figure out the whole "jedi-ghost" thing. He so should not have died!

 

Plo Koon, Hands down... Everyone says Vader is cool and he has this mask thing too....

 

1. Mace - complete badass jedi. Shaft kicks ass
2. Yoda - he rules mini ass whooper and funny dude in ESb
3. Kit Fisto and Plo Koon - These dudes Rule they are so kool shame to see em die.
4. Shaak Ti - Shes just really kool, looks kool and in the cartoon whoops some ass before dying.
5. Qui Gon - like some amazing jedi, who didnt follow the rest but still ruled and figured out the death thing. he rules 2.
I like all of them but Mace followed by Yoda are my top 2

 

Qui-gon, no competition. He was the only Jedi who saw the obvious faults in the Council, the only one ever to suggest some sort of balance between emotion and control, /and/ he found the Chosen One. The man was way, way ahead of his time.

As for the coolest, I'll have to go with Obi-Wan.

 

Plo Koon is bad ass.He beats everyone.

 

Hottest Jedi ... Aayla, wins hands down (I'm a chick and I still think she's hotter than Anakin!)

Best Jedi ... well, I think Obi-Wan was up there, as was Yoda, Mace and of Anakin before he became a Sith.
