For me it's Jagger. I may hate him at times, and think he's gotten a bit silly strutting around when he's well over 60, but when push comes to shove he's pretty much written the book on how it's done.
For me it would be Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.
This list is incomplete and a sham without the following man:
I agree. It came down to a choice between Cobain and Vedder for me, but Eddie's been doing it so well for so long htat I couldn't go past him.
see my name
I woudn't have voted for him, but he definitely belongs on the list.
Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.
Bono - U2
I Freddie, but I had to go with John.
Jim Morrison - The Doors
Bono because he is awesome.
Bono. Mick may have written the book, but Bono has mastered it and re-written it.
Not a Rolling Stone fan, but it has to be Jagger.
Bono, because he just controls the world.
Freddie - I'm a huge Queen fan.
Im voting for Freddie. He made Queen what it is with his charisma. Even more than the others did with their bands.
Why the hell is John Lennon on this list?
Freddie Mercury, although Jim Morrison is a close second, and this is from someone who considers him probably the most overrated musician of all time.
Freddie Mercury. His voice, his charisma, his writing, all made Queen the brilliant band they were.
