SWC Who is the hottest male in Star Wars?

I wish the posters who might actually date some of these guys would take this thread back

 

I've noticed there are fewer comedy posts in the hottest female thread...

 

There are less females in Star Wars. There are tons of large, fat, unattractive men in the films. Beyond Yarna, Mon Mothma, and Old Beru, there aren't many other joke characters to post. Trust me - I tried to think of one.

 

Actually it may just be that I've been too distracted by the non-joke ones to notice the jokes.

 

well to be fair I don't know why the choices have "as played by so-and-so" it might seem a tad ageist to some not saying that was the intent, but maybe someone might prefer the appeal of Guiness over McGregor for example.

 

I've noticed that too...been plotting ways to rectify that!

Is Jimmy Smits still hot, or did his hotness go the way of LA Law... ending in the 90s?

 

Hmmm...thank you for your important and intriguing question, Yak Face I have never been what I would call a particular fan of Jimmy Smits (though I think in general, he's a very good actor), but your question inspired me to do some research. Here are my findings...

Here is what I thought was the "hottest" pic of Smits revealed through a Google image search. I'm not sure of when it was taken, but let's assume it was during the L.A. Law era:



Then, I did a search limited to images of Smits from his SW appearances...here are a few of those results:





Research Results: I am forced to conclude that while Smits added a quiet dignity and sense of gravitas to his (ultimately minimized) role as Bail, he has, alas, lost a significant portion of his hotness since the era of the first pic (at least in terms of his SW appearances).

However, I would still like to give him honorable mention for the following pic, in which I think he gives off a pretty cool vibe:

I agree that he's aging very well. Maybe it's just something about his costuming or some other aspect of the way Bail is presented in the SW films that made me "downgrade" him a bit. Or it could be just that, even in his younger pic, I've just never personally found him that attractive in the first place. As we know, personal taste relating to "hotness" levels, as in so many other areas, is highly subjective! It still think Harrison Ford has a significant "hotness" factor and of course he's significantly older than Smits. And I thought Paul Newman was still quite attractive well into his 70s. So I'm not trying to be ageist or anything!

As far as I can see, the only thing gross about those two is their taste. Although they might not know how Boba makes a living but if they do shame on them.

 

Well okay, Lyn Me is a hottie, but not so sure about the other one.
