Who is the most overrated Character?

I would say Yoda, but RotS redeemed his character for me.

I say Mace Windu is the most overrated again just because he is a big time actor he gets big scenes. And young Boba Fett, alongside Jango Fett. I liked Boba from the original films but I was very disappointed to see the dumbass behind the mask, both young and old. It was such a let down that a clown like that can be such a bad ass bounty hunter. I lost all respect for Boba. They shouldv'e left his identity a mystery.

I really have to go with Qui-Gon. His saber skills were pretty poor. And why did he tell Anakin to sit in a starfighter in the middle of a battle going on in that room? "Find a safe place and stay there". Or was it "Join the battle!"

Darth Maul by far! Sure he is a fancy duelist but he is the weakest Sith in all the movies. Dooku, Sidious, and Vader are all FAR more powerful

 

First off, Darth maul rock?s! Having said that I think Mace is so overrated, I mean the guy is a stuck up jerk, who cares only about his pride. I mean how do you become second in command of the Jedi, and still be so prideful that you refuse to believe the sith could return? The guy had no empathy for Ani, and more than likely was one of the main reasons Ani turned, the only good thing he ever did was attempt to kill instead of capture Palp, and even with that palp could have turned him into orange goo if he really tried.

 

I would say Boba Fett. Nothing in the saga would change without him. They could have just used another bounty hunter, don't you think?

But he dresses cool.

 

First off, GG is awesome, a "cyborg" that can kill jedi come on! just because you see him stragetize more in the movie, dosent mean hes overrated! his background for example, lucas has stated that this guy does infact kill jedi(padwans,knights,masters)throughout the war.

i agree that windu is the most overrated and has a boring backstory. Clone Wars was the real first action he has seen and like everyone one elsa said he killed Jango, whos jetpack messed up. if that wouldnt have happened i think jango would have gave it to him at some points, but still ended the same tho.

 

Mace, he rarely is in combat and wasn`t as good as the rest of the jedi during the battles he was in

 

Nice to see the Mace-hate still going strong. Mace is not overrated, he is just constantly bashed and disliked by most Star Wars fans it seems. I'd have to go with Grievous though. After the cartoon I was expecting big things from him but he didn't deliver.

Mace holds his own with Sidious. He deserves his reputation on the strength of that alone.

I've always thought too much has been made of Maul. Yes, he's way cool, but he's really pretty inconsequential. He shows some good lightsabre skills, beats Quin Gonn when he was past his prime and then gets defeated by a padawan. He was arrogant and ill-disciplined and deserved what he got.

Some of those jedi who did a lot of sitting around looking wise for a couple of films and then got wasted in 2 seconds flat during order 66 were probably over hyped too come to think of it.

 

I stick to my guns Mace in the face is the most overrated character who should have never existed!!!!!!!!!! And I also hated that cough on Grievous!
