Who is your favorite character in Revenge Of The Sith?

My vote goes to Palpatine.

I had spent all the yeras since the OT wondering how the Emperor won Vader away from his Jedi allegience, how he brought himself to power, whta his story was. And Ian MacDiramid did a splendid job of portraying the evil old man's rise to power through the whole PT. And he absolutely dominated ROTS for me.

 

Count Dooku or Vader.it's close.

 

Hmm. Probably Anakin.

I actually have warmed up considerably to General Grevious. At first I hated him after seeing the movie but now he may be one of my favorites. Of course the deformed Sids rocks too.

 

I must say that I have 2.....Sidious and Vader

 

Anakin as a Jedi, he had all the power.

This is of course because he was barely visible and kept his yap shut for once.

The best character was Palpatine because he's so evil and manipulative and there's nothing anyone can do about it. There's something about even the greatest Jedi of all time being powerless to stop him that makes him cool.

The best acting though was still Obi Wan.

Obi-Wan's been my favorite in all the prequels, but I thought Ewan particularly nailed the performance in this one (excluding the ray shield scene which I'll chalk up to bad dialogue from Lucas).

In a semi-distant 2nd place I'd choose Palpatine/Sidious. The opera scene and battle in the Senate chamber were excellent, but I thought the scene where he killed Mace was too campy ("Unlimited pooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwer", yeeesh!)

 

Palpatine,every word from him was a classic.

 

Definatly Palpatine. He shows how to be a true evil Sith,and manipulate basically everything.
