    I love Tolkien, but by now there is just so much more by Pratchett to love.

    Out of the choices, I'd say Tolkien. I have too many others I like to just click other.

    From that list, Tolkien. I could have said Other, but I wouldn't be able to pinpoint one favourite author if I did that... :p

    Much as I like Robert Jordan - and I'm rereading WoT right now, as it happens - I have to go with Tolkien. Its no contest, really - unfair to everyone else to have him against them.

    I put this up two years ago, I can't spell, and it was a stupid idea because there are not enough to choose from and Tolkein beats all :p
